Just had a whole new HVAC system installed. I am more than happy with the product and excellent service that I received. The office staff kept me apprised of every arrival. I got a few other quotes. The prices were about the same across the board. However, A#1 did so much more than what was included in the other bids. A new platform was built, two carbon monoxide detectors were installed and more. The technicians were wonderful. They showed me how to work everything. They were respectful of my home and just extremely professional. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I've had nothing but a horrible experience with this companyand would give 0 stars if possible. we originally got a quote from another company for a train unit at least 3k cheaper, but thought since a #1 air is known for their customer service we would spend the additional money. what a horrible mistake.
1. it took at least 3 calls to get reimbursed for the hotel room we were promised. the sales guy David was not helpful at all. once he made the sale he didn't care about helping us at all.
2. we bought a new ladder from them as well for our attic. we were told they would contact us to have the contractor come out. he came... a month later after we left a negative better business review that we paid for an incomplete job.
3. the guys who came and installed our ac left trash all over our attic, which we cleaned up when we went to inspect our attic.
4. the sales guy promised us one free year maintenance for our ac which included an air filter change. a #1 air contacted us to schedule the maintenance. when the technician arrived he told us air filters are not included, so lie # 1, and the filter needs to be changed every 6 months not every year as the sales guy told us, lie # 2, and the installation guys left some of our duct work unsealed. not only did they trash our attic they didn't even finish the job.
5. our "free year maintenance" cost $39 as an ac "tune up" fee and we had to go out and buy an air filter as well when we were told that this would be included. I went back and checked our sale paperwork and it has free maintenance written on it.
6. the technician tried to sell us a service plan when I said no I'd need to discuss with my husband he told me to call my husband right then and there.
the only good experience was with the guys who came to clean our ducts. they were very professional.
if you use a# 1 air be prepared to chase them down for anything promised or purchased as they do not care once they have your money.
This guy Sam came with the intention to make me have to get a new Air Conditioning Unit regardless of my old unit condition. He gave me the impression early on & kept elaborating on the fact that my AC Unit It was too old even before he got on my roof to look at it where it was placed on a slab of concrete. Point blank, he didn't try to replace anything or add any Freon & kept saying he couldn't get a signal from his testing. I told him exactly where it was located, but He started going jacking around with things he had no business touching & didn't respond when I was calling his name asking his whereabouts up there. To add insult to my intelligence he looked all around my place & asked how long Have I been living there? Then once outside, he started asking me about my Jeep payments & BMW & telling me what I can afford? I will keep it professional on this write-up, but it was all about the 8- 15k company AC Unit he was trying to get me to purchase & undermine my thinking. I am 54 years old & I worked hard all my life. I don't need some technician coming out to evaluate my living conditions. All I wanted was good Honest service whether my cooling system could be fixed or not. It would save me time which is money, from calling another company for a second opinion which I'm doing. If this system has to be replaced, I'll look at my buying options & do it with a more professional company who has the customer best interest like it was his their family member.
Service person Matt was very nice. He did not appear to be very experienced according to my equipment provider whom explained to Matt and me that the job was very simple and would take about an hour with only wire and protective cable ( running power to an overhead light 10 feet from the junction box). The quote was $850. The equipment provider thought the quote outrageous and so did I. Avoid this ripoff!
I unfortunately inherited this business when I purchased my home. A coil on one of the units went defective after just a couple of years. Good news it was covered the parts .not the labor. They tried to charge me over $1000 an hour for the labor. I managed to talk them down to what I would still consider an unreasonable amount. Then today one of the rooms on that unit stopped cooling. I go into the attic and the entire ducting for that room had come off the air handler. There is really no excuse for something like that except for lazy installation. See picture. They are overpriced and underdeliver. You re basically paying for advertising when you use a company like this. I would never use them again after my experience.
Starting with the sales rep Victoria and Juan the installer to date I would say the service has been excellent. We had AC on the downstairs unit this past evening. Juan is to install in upstairs unit this Monday (7/26/21) and I expect the same excellent results. Tom
The install team consisting of Juan and Canyon finished the job yesterday the 26th and we are very pleased. These two work as a great TEAM. As noted previously excellent quality. The employee contacts have been very professional and courteous including the office personnel, sales and install crew. I would definitely recommend this company based upon quality, pricing and personal contact. Thanks Tom
I want to thank A#1 Air for being True to their Name and coming back to replace the Ducts that needed replacing. I want to Thank the staff and everyone that took part in organizing the repairs. Thank You Kurt and Daniel for the Super Excellent hard work that You all provided. Super professional and Respectful ! These Men deserve a super raise from the company! You both are always welcome in My home. Thank You A # 1 air for making it right, You all are #1!!!
After paying $7000 to replace the electrical fuse box to a circuit breaker, the AC unit did not work or get power. I called to see if they would come out and fix it, since it worked properly before they came out. They wanted to charge us a minimal $99 service fee just to get them out to fix the problem they caused (and they wouldn t be able to get there until 3 days later)...I was able to get the AC back on for $80 from another electrician. and they said it was the wiring caused by A#1 Airs electricians. A#1 AIR DIDNT EVEN CHECK TO SEE IF EVERYTHING WORKED AFTER THEY FINISHED INSTALLING THE CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL!!!!! terrible terrible terrible quality, destroyed the paneling on the wall. Do yourself a favor and do a little more research in finding a better company, this company is the equivalent of a used car sales lot.
Services: Repair outlets or switches, Replace or upgrade panel
