5G Studio Review

Having been working with this firm as a consultant over the years, the quality of their construction document set has been dropping significantly since last year.

I was told that the mass lay-off played a big part in the inconsistency of their drawing qualities. Some of the employees that I had good working experience with, are all gone.

I worked with the project architects Lauren and Laurel who probably still work there. They have good design concepts, but failed to deliver in construction phase where their quality control is mismanaged.

All in all, there was too much re-work and re-issurance of the drawings, which overall is costly for the client and creates unnecessary extra work for consultants.

If you value your time and business, I highly recommend going elsewhere for architectural services. My experience with Mike V. was frustrating and one of the worst. It is incredible the level of incompetency, lack of leadership, ineptitude, and the quality of services in general.

Not only did I had to deal with unrealistic deadlines that were promised to me and were never met, but also with low quality drawings that included numerous flaws. I later learned about how he has had legal / tax issues in the business area with other businesses he is involved in. This explains a whole lot.

Avoid this unethical firm, and as mentioned, take your valued business elsewhere.

I had the experience of working with Lauren.C from 5G Studio, not great. Her attitude as a designer sometimes comes across as unprofessional and it's not a good look.
We paid her to help us, not for her to be passive aggressively dominating every single negotiation.

Beautiful renderings do not equal reliable construction drawings.
And honestly, don't treat clients like that when the drawings are unprofessionally prepared. You could get sued.

If you are looking for quality design work and construction drawings, think twice before signing with this firm.

Arguable the worst set of construction drawings I've ever worked with. Poor quality, massively inaccurate.

People running this business are Arrogant & Ignorant

This business is run by incompetent, dishonest,& unprofessional people...They like to portray they are one of the best & reliable architectural firms, yet reality is very different!!!!......Highly recommended doing a thorough research on them!!!

Definitely some of the worst construction drawings. In this case, the movie theatre drawings are colossally unreliable. Many flaws and constantly having to ask for clarifications. It is very clear the incompetence of the people drawing these construction drawings that do not comprehend how construction works, do not understand design, and how details actually work. The "details" shown are more like diagrams, ineptitude and disastrous discrepancies through out these drawings.
