The line up to get in is so long. They need to widen the entrance to make it run smooth
It's 2 lanes and eventually opens to 4 lanes

Always a great time at the drive in!
Decent food at good prices, too!
Nice place to watch a movie with friends and family. Accommodates a lot of customers. I wish that they renovate their facilities like e washrooms and snack shacks to accommodate for their customers.
My husband and i have been coming here for 25yrs plus. Whem our kids were small they would play at the park until it was time for the movie to start. Family oriented and safe. Clean and quiet while the movie is playing. Always a good time
I drove in. I also drove out. I hope that this did not violate any rules. The experience between these two events was quite positive.
The kids had a blast. BUT the washrooms didn't flush and their soft serve machine was down.
But still, for the price, you get 2 movies. It's a good deal.
A drive in in the city! 5 stars for sure. I love drive ins. Biggest problem with this place is that on some nights it is so popular it is hard to get in. Also, if you drive an SUV or pickup you have to park in the back rows - which is fine but just be aware of that. Not sure how long this place will be open though because the land it sits on must be super valuable so go while you still can!
I always ook forward to seeing movies here. It's a great experience. The staff has always been polite and helpful. It's a fun way to see movies - in the comfort of your own vehicle.
I have been to this drive in many times however; this time it was unavailable bad they were so rude with me and my children my poor 7 years old daughter was on tears because she thought it was her fault. I was told were to park and when I move because my daughter felt the guy who was driving around with a little golf cart told that I can not park in that area when I told him that I will park in the back he told me was only for SUV and my car is an SUV and he told me it wasn't I told that I will leave then and he told to go to the box office with my receipt and they will give the money back. When I went to the box they were very rude too. I stay because I couldn't find my tiny receipt but never going back to this place they were so races and don't care.
One of the few good drive ins. Friendly staff. It's nice and organized. Price is pretty reasonable.
Fun way to re-live the past. Don't forget to bring a portable radio as your car radio might not make it through a long movie. They've got current and popular titles and the set-up is pretty good. The concession stands are a little run down and the audio transmission was clipping over the radio, but otherwise a pleasant experience.
It has always been an experience visiting the drive-in. You get to sit (or lie) comfortably in your car watching newest movies. The food is great, the screen was pretty clear even in a raining day (they do open even if it rains). We just enjoyed our 2 new movies, Maleficent and Addams family, which are really good. Overall, it's good for a family night out and for a couple night out as well.
Had a good experience at the theatre. Very safe when you are social distancing.
Terrible customer service! Staff are RUDE and very dismissive to phone calls and inquiries, they absolutely do not know how to treat customers. As a person who thoroughly enjoys the concept of drive in theatres and was excited to experience one after isolation, it is a shame that we left with a very sour taste in our mouth.
Great date night spot! Either sit in your vehicle or beside it. My favourite is laying in the back of an SUV and setting it up like a big bed.
Getting here early and watching the sunset is amazing.
It would be great it they upgraded the screens a little bit. Maybe a little bigger so that if you re stuck with a spot in the back, you can still see clearly.
Lots of food and snack options as well which is always great!
Great retro fun on three screens.
Awesome value for your money. At least two movies for the price of one.
Always arrive early for a hood spot.
Play area for the kids.
Bring Fido too .. Dogs are welcome.
Bathrooms are mostly clean
Snack bar lines can be long.
Great place. Loved it. Would definitely go back again
You guys could put the Concession stand is not open due to the COVI-19 in big letters but you can't put down and big letters that you have to pay upfront online and waste my time going there and you got some guys that you to tell us that because you guys made a mistakes and its hard to see in small print that you have to pay on line and hopefully youa cn fix it!!
5 Drive In is truly a unique and authentic drive-in movie experience, located the perfect distance outside of Toronto. The prices are incredibly reasonable especially considering that one ticket gives you access to two different movies! There is ample space for your cars, easy directions to navigate the large property, and the furnishings/snack bar have the rare aura of vintage entertainment. The drive-in is worth it alone for the 1970s cartoons played before each film. Going to the 5 Drive In truly is a treat, especially great in the warm summer months. It is so much more memorable than going to the local corporate cineplex!
Blast from the past... 3 screens. There is a snack bar. I don't know how u are supposed to use the washroom during the movie... overall this place is always fun!
Excellent place to watch movies under the stars with your dog and loved ones!
Tip: bring hand sanitizer and bring your own toilet paper.
Favorite place to be during the season! Great family time.
Arrived early( third car to gate) excited to take the girls to see ET and Back to the future. Got glad great spot ,got cozy only to find they sent us to the wrong theatre. We had to pack up quickly as we had two terrified young girls as IT started to play in the screen. Only to be told there wasn't really any room at the right screen. Very unprofessional !!!
This place is such great value for a night out. Always a great time but make sure you go early as the entrance can take a while. The only negative I see is the the snack bar. I would love some better quality food or better yet bring in some food trucks. You have thousand of people sitting there for a few hours. Gold mine or what?
We had such an awesome time! We went in late October and it was so fun to snuggle up in blankets and pajamas with some snacks. We had a little bit of an issue with windshield fogging up but kept our windows open a crack and it seemed to help for most of the movies. You're able to control the volume of the sound since the audio is broadcast to your radio through a station they provide. Only complaint is that the bathrooms at screen 1 were horrible. The toilets were all disgusting and I couldn't get the water to work at any of the sinks.
Cheaper then the ciniplex especially on Tuesdays..... summer time they'll give u 3 movies sometimes..... great place great food
They let everyone in 15 minutes late but played the movie at the scheduled time, which gave us only 15 minutes to go to bathroom/get snacks. Most people had only gotten back to their vehicle starting at about 20+ minutes into the movie, and the window was covered in the snack bar so we couldn't see it while waiting. They also only had 1 cook so food took very long to get. Poorly executed night for how the place was ran.
First time at the drive in and it was great. Just pulled up in our car, dialed into the radio station and relaxed while watching the movie of our choice. The movies went late and we were able to watch two different ones for the price we paid. Not much of these drive in's left and it seems as though they have kept the classic feeling alive.
Amazing experience on Halloween I went out with my friends recently. Great Dolby digital sound and a retro feeling once you hit this place. I look forward to visit this Drive in soon. Perfect Covid Experience. Kudos to the Team
No complaints, accept they started the movie while it was still super light outside.
Great time and the movies are pretty cheap... so much fun to still be able to enjoy movies the old fashioned way!
Great to experience. Except the toilet facilities.
Take repellant if it's the season.
It's always nice going here ! Would highly recommend bringing lawn chairs , blankets and sitting outside if you don't have an SUV or a truck because it can get uncomfortable.
Good times await! Just go to the bathroom BEFORE you go and bring your own tp. Could use a Reno on those bathrooms. Tip....dont park too close to the screen. Better views a ways back.
The drive-in is still amazing! The only thing they need to improve is the brightness of the screen, if you are watching a dark action movie it's hard to see what's happening. Otherwise great value and great experience!
A must try experience! An exciting and different way of watching movie. Just don't fall asleep inside your car. Must use battery of the car when watching, so make sure you're equipped for at least 3hrs of watching (especially if you get there early to make sure you get the spot that you like).
I bought tickets for Saturday and I dont know why i received tickets for tomorrow instead. I sent an email asking to switch and the person responded in a very rude way, I will paste it below:
Hello
We can not switch tickets like that sorry.
Thank you
5 Drive In
And I insisted that It was not what I chose and the next answer was even worst. Seriously, dont you train your employees to respond properly and solve YOUR problems in a nice way? Super disappointed
People are so rude....backs of suv open which blocks your view and they put lights on and leave them shining on you. The Drive in needs to enforce their rules because there not being followed and nobody is enforcing the rules.
Always a good time safe to say after being a long time patron.
If your car dies they will boost you but takes time. Other than that staff are friendly and make the experience good
Nice place and good set up although a little bit confusing, but not all the snack bars were open?
Great place to go see movies right now because of covid. There is an outdoor line to get the food with socially distance spacing and the bathrooms have been set up so that there is less capacity. It's great to be able to watch a movie are the theatres still during this pandemic!
Fair prices. Good service and clean. 2 movies back to back. Its all good here. Ive been going since time. The theatre has a park for the kids aswell!!
Super busy. Lines onto the road. But has a food truck that comes around. Good view even from the sides.
Unfortunately, the snack bar at screen 2 (where I had watched my movie) was closed. We walked to screen 1's snack bar only to discover an incredibly long line, this however did not ruin my night. The quality of the sound was incredible! Video was quite amazing as well. With or without snacks, it was a great experience!
A great treat during the pandemic. Safe and fun as a couple or a family
Bathrooms were disgusting, but even if they were clean would still be - they need a complete renovation. None of the Covid laws being followed in the bathrooms or elsewhere. Great movie theatre popcorn. People turning their lights on and washing out the screen, but the staff did nothing except stand around in a group smoking something. Audio and video worked flawlessly.
Great nostalgic flashback by going to the drive in. Only annoying part is relying on others to be courteous with their lights. Maybe should get staff to walk by once in a while to ensure people aren't ruining the flick with headlights instead of patrons doing it themselves.
A last surviving tribute to an area of shared experiences, family and the enjoyment of movies under the stars. Come early, as the demands for food are high and the lines can be long, but all the movie staples and even some vintage treats are there for the taking. Overall, taken as an experience steeped with nostalgia for the best of the past in a modern age, it remains a wonderful experience for a relaxing summer evening. There is music, a playground for children and a genuinely uncynical and loving appreciation from staff and management for a family-friendly experience.
A fun experience, the fresh air and the excitement was wonderful. The food was not fresh, so will take our own next time
Although some drivers didn't respect turning the lights off and nobody went there to warn, it's a great place. The snack bar is also great.
Great for couples with a baby that want to watch a latest movies. No more uncomfortable moments when your baby starts crying, just close your windows... Sometimes there will be ppl that leave their head lights on through the movie and is very annoying if you're on the driver's seat as all mirrors reflect it back into your eyes + given the car are parked tilting up toward the screen the head lights make the movie hard to see too. It'd be great if they had someone going around telling ppl to turn off their head lights
Great fun! It was like stepping back in time! Brought me back to my childhood minus the speakers that you would have to hang on your window!
One of the last remaining drive -ins. Always very busy on Friday and Saturday night. Great time for everyone - just arrive early to grab a good spot.
Outdoors and the movies. A perfect combination for safe pandemix fun!
Concession stand is always open and decently priced. Lots of room to park as well
Love this place, been coming here for a long time. Sometimes they forget to give out the courtesy garbage bags...
Great spot to watch movies , although there is no real efficient way of enforcing rules for specific cars for specific areas, so it does cause drama and lots of distraction.
Wholesome place with a quaint theme of early drive ins. Highly suggest the carload day! Makes you feel good because you're
SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES!
Pros:
Local business
Adventure/Experience
Cheap if carpooling/family
Cons:
Screen can be far away
Getting in or out is tough (plus HUGE lines)
Food is pricey (just like all theatres)
Come early or come late because coming just in time or even only 30 minutes early on big days (check if a new arrival is out) will make you tear your hair out.
Great place to go for a different movie experience. Only negative is you have to go early if you want a good spot. And sometimes people s trunks are open and very high blocking your view. Staff will come and help with a bungee cord to bring it down. Having a spare one helps! Overall cool experience. Been coming since I was a little kid!
Stuck at the back of tiny screen #3. Really confusing parking arrangements (the guy had to keep telling ppl to move), and someone still partially blocked our view! Ridiculously overpriced food!!! I know it's crappy movie food, but if you ask ppl to "support your local drive-in" you should be more reasonable with your prices!!
Very dirty concession stand. Employee sneezed in his hand and went ahead to make popcorn.
Received the most disrespectful customer service from the manager on October 7 2017 I was hung up on and told I had a "tone"after being told the free passes I received from five drive in were not valid on "special weekends" (not specified on tickets or told upon receiving them) we drove 45 mins to and from to be told "too bad the tickets are not valid" (with my kids in the car) she spoke over me when speaking to her and when I asked her to please listen to me she said "not with that tone" and hung up on me. If i spoke to a customer that way at my place of work I would be fired immediately. Extremely offended and telling as many people as I can about the ridiculousness of this entire incident. Tip for the future: constructively problem solve and show some respect. Lost business 100%
Movies great but bring your own food not only is it expensive but the prices on the menu are less than what your actually charges if you want people to support the local drive ins fix it !
Great place for drive in movies, different experiences to watch movies with bf. Must to do thing for couples.
I was there last night with my family watched the movie Peter Rabbit. The experience for a first timer like me was excellent. Only down side was raining last night. The place was big, lots of parking spot, the popcorn was delicious and the large drink was big, bigger than I thought, love it! The price was good, compared with a indoor movie theater I was saving big! I liked how they have their own radio channels that you can tune in to watch the movie and I especially love that we are in our own car, because no matter how loud my kids are will not affect anyone around us, lol. The washroom for us was little far, we had to get out the car and walk from screen two to screen one area(personally I do not recommending kids under 16 walking to washroom by them self), other than that I only found one thing that was bothering me very much, which is some people would not turn off their car lights, which made the screen darker and harder to see, even though began the movie they advised everyone to turn off their car, pull the hand break and then start the car back again, this way head light will not come on, but some selfish people still don t follow the instructions. I think the stuffs should walk around once a while to just check for the head light of people s car, this way everyone can enjoy a move under the star in the dark. Other than that this is a kid friendly place with kids play grounds and off leashes dog park, so we don t have to leave our pet at home by them self.
We went a couple weeks ago and had a terrible experience. Depending on which screen you go to parking for SUVs and vans is limited to the very front and very back. I would not bother seeing a movie on screen 3 if you are in an SUV. Another issue is that they keep letting cars in all through the movies so you will be blinded from time to time with headlights. Given that it is hard enough to see to begin with this is really not helpful. We also had issues with the concessions where one of them had only 1 till working and told us to go to the other one which was lined up for quite a distance outside and the line was not moving. If you just want something simple like popcorn then wait for the golf cart which drives around selling snack items.
One of my favorite places to visit in summer nights.
Come early there was a long line of cars to get in ,eventhough we came 15 min before the movie was supposed to start we still missed the first 10 min. We came with our kids and the bathrooms were really not clean and lots of bugs . The movie itself was great , dont park near the edge of the parking lot or you will be blinded by the cars coming in late or leaving early.
Love this drive inn! such a great place to watch outdoor movies, the prices for food could be a bit cheaper but all in all pretty good experience.
Went last Thursday for the very first time with my husband.Unfortunately, it will mostly be our last. The themes of the old 80s, when growing up, was reminiscence to the ones back in my home country, MINUS the mosquitoes. All were pluses. But, the washrooms were HORRENDOUS. USING IT, I HAD TO WIPE THE TOILET SEATS LITERALLY 10X, BEFORE I COULD USE IT.
OTHERWISE, I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A FULL 5 STARS.
Great drive-in, but lost stars due to speed of service at the snack shop and incorrectly listed movies playing.
Just opened for the season. Always great to go for a nice night out. Reasonable prices.
Brilliantly stunning location. Wonderful food and good quality projectors. The image looks good! Plus social distance friendly
Horrible customer service. The lady who answered my email and calls (after multiple hours) was extremely rude.
