Hadn't heard of 4th Dimension before being involved in an accident in November 2019. From the very first phone call, all the way through, they kept me updated, even advised of the short delay in sourcing genuine Yamaha parts. Bike came back almost better than when I drove it out of the showroom. Service was excellent. Hope I don't have the need to use them again, but if I ever do, I know bike will be in excellent hands.
We Received excellent service when my son's moped got knocked over and written off, The claim was dealt with quickly and in a professional manner, nothing was too much trouble. Had to contact them 8 months later when my son received a parking ticket for the same moped after a mix up with the v5 (no fault of 4th dimension) . Spoke to James S who once again provided excellent service and advice in helping to sort the situation, nothing was too much trouble and always replied to email's and phone calls quickly and efficiently. Once again James Thank you for all your help.
Terrible. Bike came back with more problems than it went in for. Serious faults took ages to rectify and had to fight for it. You have a choice when you make an insurance claim about where your bike goes. Don't choose this company
Excellent customer service, the engineer was very good. They kept me updated every step of the way which was lovely and they did an amazing job on my bike. Very happy with the service and recommend to others.
Had my motorcycle for over 3 months but apart from that (partly caused by lack of parts availability) The quality of the work including the paintwork was first class. The communications were also very Good with regular updates. The Assessor was also very helpful and knew his stuff , bare in mind this is one of the largest motorcycle repairers in Europe so proberby have access to a vast range of spares the alternative rear shocks supplied on my V ROD (originals are no longer available ) are a vast improvement on the originals. Impressive 5 Stars
4th D were my insurers chosen repair shop my bike was collected promptly I was constantly informed on the progress of the repair and the bike was returned on time in perfect condition excellent service all round
I recently had 4th dimension carry out some insurance repair work to my bike, from start to finish they were efficient and courteous with every aspect of the job. They kept me updated every step of the way with regular phone calls and text messages, Definitely a 5 star operation
Terrible place, bad service, bad ethos. might see it on watchdog in a few years. Avoid. Always chose your own repairer unless it was a non fault accident.
The company offers people vouchers if they out good reviews. Don't trust anything on here. Terrible company.
Returned my scooter with rear wheel out of line called about my concern check my email statement from 4th dimension saying wheels are aligned promised to send me the email address so that I can send pictures still waiting
My bike could not have been in safer hands. I was kept informed at regular intervals about progress and timings for completion. When the bike was returned it looked as immaculate as it did in the showroom when I bought it 8 years ago. Given it a new lease of life and although I hope I don't need their services again for a while they will be the first place to go for repairs.
Unfortunately an unknown neanderthal vandalised my Honda 1300 VTX and my insurance company chose 4th Dimension as the repairers. It took them four months to repair a damaged back-end and they replaced the custom licence plate with a bog-standard one that completely impairs the look of the bike despite the fact that I had sent them photos and details of the plate that had been stolen. They also failed to repair the speedometer that had been screwed up by the vandal and so now I have no idea what speed I am doing when I ride the bike and so have had to put it in for repair elsewhere. Avoid using this company if possible.
Very poor service. Incident first reported first week of July and its now November and i am still waiting for any information. Communication is extremely poor. Apparently i was going to receive payment in 5 working days, this was at the beginning of October! My bike has still not been repaired. Its got to the stage where i am chasing the third party. Very frustrating experience from start to ....well not yet finished!
Cannot fault this company.staff are very helpful. Complaint was dealt with in a matter of days not weeks. Admitted they was wrong straight away!. Gave hire bike for 3 weeks as part of complaint settlement and even extended it for me due to partner ending up in a meternity hospital tal 30 miles away. Excellent company all round
Very poor service. My bike was damaged in an accident a few years ago, it never occurred to me to review them until now.
They had my bike for about 3 months, didn't repair half of the issues and put my engine back together with gasket gunk instead of buying the proper gasket set from triumph. My bike blew up a year later from, you guessed it, gasket gunk blocking the oil feed to the middle big end. It has taken me until now to save up to get the bike fixed, and upon inspection, the engineer is finding gasket gunk everywhere. It's in the oil pipes, in the crank cases and clogging up the water pump.
Cowboys. Avoid like the plague, Remember that you can choose your own repairer, your insurance company cannot dictate to you where you bike goes. Use someone you trust.
Update: subsequent inspection by a competent engineer has revealed several engine components incorrectly fitted, spacers in the wrong place etc.
Having a similar experience to Dean below, multiple phone calls and emails to chase what's going on, little response. Finally got a completion estimation today a month from now. 2 months to fix a bike with surface scrapes and a bent handlebar and lever seems an awfully long time....
Excellent service, good communication and first class repair. Asked to see my bike before it was returned to me, no problem at all. Had a full tour of the facility and met some of the guys and girls who work there. Couldn't ask for more.
I had a van reverse into me at traffic lights early in the morning, my insurance company recommended 4th Dimension. It has been the second time I have had to use this company due to my original bike being stolen and written off, on both occasions I can not give them enough praise. On this experience they were quick to collect my bike and deliver the same model as a hire vehicle within 24hrs, they were great at keeping me informed of the progress with the 3rd parties insurance and the repairs to my bike. Due to my work schedule they even fitted return of my bike into my time frame, when returned it looked as good as before if not better and I cannot thank them enough. They made an unpleasant time bearable.
3 months later bikes still not repaired , now they want to send bike back not complete , said they will post new parts never heard so much shite in my life ... Not even much damage to bike ...... Do not use take else where ...... Trust me cowboys
My night rod special arrived back on the day I was told it would....looking like the day I collected from Warrs Chelsea Feb 2007...cannot fault the service given by the guys at 4th dimension....weekly updates to keep you in the loop....polite and very professional from start to finish...exemplary service second to none....thank you 4th dimension.
Cowboys, if you have an accident and your or 3rd party insurance company say 4th dimension will arrange, estimates, repair etc then do not use these guys, they are not very professional. Just get a quote from your preferred place you do not have to do what the insurance companies say its up to you who repairs your bike. After 1 month nothing has been done to my bike they haven't even done an estimate and also very rude staff on the phone say they will return calls and never return calls. Did a bit more research regarding 4th dimension and they are not talked about well on any forum, poor repairs etc, do your own research on reviews for this place but my experience was so bad I collected the bike off them myself as I don't want anything to do with them. Life is to short to deal with unprofessional companies.
How do I enter Zero rating? Exceptionally rude staff. Collection arranged but didn't happen. When I called to find out why I was told it was given to another company to collect and I had to chase them. When I pointed out it was the insurers job to arrange, not mine I was again told to call the other company because they didn't want to deal with it!
Having been clobbered by a myopic Cmax driver in Wales my Blackbird was collected by 4th Dimension exactly when they said it would be and taken to their repair shop. Their negotiator was blanked by the third party for several weeks but he kept at them and his tenacity on my behalf paid off and my bike was repaired and delivered back to me, again exactly when they said. The repair is first class and the bike was spotless and polished. Overall a first class service from 4th Dimension.
4th Dimension were absolutely amazing !! They kept me up to date every step of the way, phoning me with updates. When i received my bike i felt that they had gone over and beyond with exceptional customer service. I fully recommend 4th Dimension to anyone that wants 1st class service ........
After the accident the insurance company advised 4th Dimension to collect the Motorcycle I was contacted and the collection date set, my damaged bike was taken away and a replacement bike delivered. The driver was polite and very helpful even putting the hire bike in the garage for me. I was kept informed during the repaire process and when repaires were completed, the bike was returned in a first class condition. All the damged parts had been replaced without any fuss although the repaire did take a little longer than anticipated I had not been left without a Bike so the delay did not affect my bike requirements. Again although it was a different delivery driver he was polite and very helpful. I could not have asked for a better service and whilst I hope I will not require their services again, I know I will get the best help available. A big thank you to all those involved. Martin Barrett

But you collected my bike with the option of a loan bike which I didn't take this time. But my beloved triumph is back with me and looking wonderfully. Awful service and pirates, I was knocked of my scooter in November it s now January I keep chasing them they never contact me my scooter only needs minor repair and they threaten to charge me if I ask for it back traumatised don t have anything to do with them
Amazing service. We have recently had our Pan European in with 4th Dimension and we can honestly say that they were brilliant. They told us that they would contact us every week to let us know how things were progressing, and they did without fail. We were kept completely informed at all times, when they ordered parts when they were coming in etc. They gave us a date when we could expect our bike back and it was returned that day looking immaculate. If you ever use them you will have the best service ever.
So far so bad. Accident took place on the 26th October and as far as I know 4D do not even have liability sorted. I have sent many emails to no reply, called many times and no updates. It's an open and closed case yet they seem to drag things out to keep me on a loan bike as long as possible for financial gains. I have sent an official complaint and also received no reply. Maybe a bit of public shaming will get 4D to pull their finger out?
UPDATE - 25/01/2017 - Well, not sure if it was this review or a phonecall that took place but all is finished now so I have changed my review to 3*. The work carried out on my bike on the surface looks to be of a good quality as soon as liability had been sorted out they did in fact carry out the work pretty fast.
Collected damaged bike quickly kept in regular contact on phone with progress updates.Returned my bike repaired to an excellent standard anything damaged replaced with Kawasaki only parts.Bike now drives as new am impressed.
I had some bodywork repairs carried out by 4th Dimension and the service was excellent right from collection of the bike through keeping me informed Re the progress up to the return of the bike. I cannot recommend 4th dimension enough really excellent service.
Excellent service. Everyone whom I have delt with during my accident claim have been professional, considerate and extremely efficient. I highly recommend.
Following someone turning across my path and taking me out, my bike was taken by 4D and declared a write off. At the time of dealing with them, I was still suffering from a significant ongoing head injury and was off work. Throughout the claim, 4D dealt solely with the third party and did not mention any details of the claim to my insurer. As such, when I was sent over the pre-accident value for my bike, it turns out that this was solely from the 3rd party, and not 50:50 from both insurers as expected. They continue to claim that this it discussed and agreed that I did not want my insurance involved - who had been notified of the claim from day 1. As yet, they have provided no data to back this up.
I read a few worrying reviews before 4D took my bike, but given that I had no say as to which company the insurers used, this was largely out of my hands.
4th Dimension have one task and that is to milk as much money out of both insurers, whilst giving the lowest possible settlement value against any vehicle. I have since had 3 solicitors strongly warn against 4th Dimension at all costs - I can see why now!

Bit of a pain that the the insurers recovered my crashed bike to somewhere at the other end of the country so difficult to go and see damage but when I decided to get it back off them the process was relatively easy and they delivered it promptly and in one piece.
Complete waste of time. My bike was sent to 4th Dimension by my insurance company after it was damaged during an attempted theft. 4th Dimension didn't return calls when they said they would, and after two weeks still hadn't even looked at the bike. At that point I lost patience with them and asked for the bike back to carry out the repair myself.
This is the 2nd time I've had service from 4th Dimensions and I cannot fault anything, they kept me up to date every week on what was going on and apologised when running over with repairs. The staff I spoke to were friendly and very helpful. The return of my bike was quick and easy, they accommodated my request which I was very grateful for. Excellent service all round.
Avoid at all costs, been promised calls back every other day an have received nothing, lying when they received my bike documentation (received a week later from the date they signed for it) , lying about the status of the claim, over all a no go
Shame you can't leave no stars as its what's needed. Please, please, reconsider using this company. In my experience they are dishonest, deceitful, rude and only out for thier pockets. NEVER agree to a 'courtesy bike' as i was sold, it doesn't exist its a credit hire agreement for a bike and if they dont win thier case, will sting you for the costs, your best friend when they need you to fight thier battles for them but spit thier dummy out when it doesn't go thier way. Crooks,still owe me money now. AVOID!!!!
