This is a really cool.spot with lots happening, plenty of.room for the kids and a real cool feel to it. The for is unfortunately pretty average (not bad just not great). If they could just improve the food a bit, would be a definite 5 star job!

What an amazing venue, fantastic views over the greens and the children s playground not to mention the mini golf. The staff are attentive and friendly, the menu is modern, inviting and well-priced. We ordered the Lamb Gnocchi and Beetroot risotto both were full of flavor and a great serving. we finished with the White chocolate meringue and the Hazelnut chocolate cake and again very nice. All in couldn t fault the meal, the staff or the night. Would highly recommend.
Phoned to book a fathers day lunch. Only to be told they couldnt take my booking over the phone and to use the online form. At looking closer at the form it appears they require full payment before the event. I phoned back to querie this and spoke with someone whom was very blunt. When i ask if there was a way they could take just a deposit as we were are large group and not one person would pay for the full account she replied and said "no and we dont do split billing either". Not sure there are too many restaurants out there wanting full payment before you dine with them. Good luck filling your restaurant with those conditions and that attitude. Looks like a nice venue but you've lost our business!
Friendly customer service and great atmosphere. Meals were pricey for what was served, a small meal was larger then a main!! A long time between ordering drinks and receiving them. Nice place for a meal or drink after golf.
So disappointing! Such a beautiful evening spot but unfortunately the food is over-salted, the salads wilted and lacklustre. We would love this place to shine but it's just not quite there.
We had a table of 15 people. We were looked after wonderfully. The food was exceptional from the scallops to beef cheeks to lamb then onto divine desserts! Thanks to the hard working waitresses.
Had a lovely catch up lunch with a couple of girlfriends today. The restaurant was very quiet but there was a few tables of people out on the balcony. We had the beef cheeks, steak sandwich and fish and chips. All of the meals were very large servings and were very nice. We also had dessert of pecan pie, macadamia slice and carrot cake. My only complaint about the pecan pie was that it was served without cream or ice cream. I had to ask. They did bring some. The carrot cake wasn t fresh. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It s a lovely place to sit and enjoy a chat and we weren t rushed off by staff. Plenty of parking that you share with the golfers.
We had a business breakfast in the Ambrose Room at The Wembley Golf Complex that was very pleasant. Good staff and very well catered for with a very nice breakfast.
The quality of the food really let's this place down. Service, albeit very friendly was very slow. Great place for a drink but skip food unless it's chicken wings. Ordered the pork belly and it was chewy and rubbery. My wife had the chicken wings which were nice.
Deliciois food and relaxing environment with a kids corner. Not a bad experience but was a long wait for the meals possibly because it was a public holidays
Great place and absolutely amazing service. Huge thanks to Clodagh for all her help and knowledge. Will be returning and recommending to friends because of her!
Poor customer service - waited 20m just for drinks on a quiet night. Multiple people around me returned there plates as it was cold, no doubt when my plate of food came, it was cold, as was my friends plates. The whole time spent here, no waiter came to fill our water.
Visited the restaurant for the first time today. Every thing was above our expectations. Very nice environment, Family and kids friendly restaurant. Food was delicious. We all enjoyed our night to the last minute. Thank you
Great relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic service and a great place to hang out. The Mini golf is a great family day out and then for a meal to 300 acres. Brilliant venue for a family outing or a group.
The establishment is beautiful and the staff friendly but the food was disappointing. I had the worst fish and chips I'd ever had in a restaurant. The whole meal was overcooked and poorly presented. The fish was tough and dry, was curled over into clumps and the batter was not at all to the standard I was expecting. The chips were more like wedges and looked and tasted like they'd been reheated. Other people at my table were given tiny meals and had similar complaints about the quality of their food. Most of us didn't bother ordering dessert as we felt that since the main meal was small and not up to standard that the dessert would be the same. When the others who had ordered dessert received their orders the rest of us were glad we made the decision to save our money as the portions were tiny and once again poorly presented. Such a shame that a beautiful restaurant has such crappy food and low standards of presentation. They need to get some good chefs in there to raise the standard to fit what they expect diners to pay for. Also found the place hard to get to as did my friends as the website is not very clear on directions.
The view is amazing and worth it for a birthday lunch or similar, but the staff seem regularly disorganised (although will go out of their way to be as helpful as possible). The food is good but nothing to write home about.
Popped in for a drink and a snack, was met by a very unsmiling, unfriendly young waitress. Was sat outside on the balcony which was pleasant, a nice outlook. Choice of share plates was very limited. We decided to go with the duo of dips and bread with chorizo and olives. Did NOT expect the chorizo to be served WHOLE requiring us to slice it ourselves! causing quite a mess. Dips were subpar and bread spongey and inedible. Sunnyside Up juice tasted like store bought OJ. Overpriced and under delivered. Never again. Was considering holding a function here but certainly not now.
Service was completely spotty. After ordering a meal, no waitress would pay enough attention to let us order drinks, had to go and order them at the bar. Food was great. For a bar.
Nice, casual place. I kinda understand the mixed reviews though as our food and drinks were absolutely delicious but some of the food that came out to our mates were atrocious... Basic foods like chips, pizzas, fish/steak sandwiches, and chocolate tarts were spot on, anything that sounded slightly fancy looked like something from a prank TV show.... Order basic dishes and you'll be happy.
Great place to eat and hold birthday party events.. love the outdoor putt putt at night time and the golf range. I had a wonderful time Sketching a 50th Birthday party and ll the guest loved their Caricature art..
Whilst the views are really nice the food at this place is hit and miss. I believe the staff don t receive allergies when we order because I have had a dish which I specifically asked for egg free Because I have a severe allergy to egg. The dish did come with an aioli on top which made the food inedible. Otherwise the experience has been mediocre some of the food is good whilst some of the food is not that great. I would not recommend this place
Nice venue, meals quite expensive for the standard served. The starter/nibbles offerings are very limited, we opted for the bread and olives, which was disappointing. A few slices of hard, charred sour dough toast with a tiny amount of olive oil & dukkah - nowhere near enough for the amount of bread served, we ended up trying to soften the bread in the dregs of the oil in the olive serving. I am sure a more generous serve of olive oil/dukkah would not not break the bank. The 'special' that evening was Chilli Mussels, which I love, so I was looking forward to that - sadly again I was disappointed, a very large plate arrived with about 10 mussels (half of which were empty) and a serve of rather bland tomato sauce and two slices of the same hard, sour dough bread - not worth $24.00. My husband's choice was better - good old fish and chips. The staff seemed a little lost too, we were asked a couple of times if we were ready to order having already placed our order, and i over heard the next table having the same issue. We decided to have a liqueur and coffee, sadly the liqueur selection was poor and the waitress did not know what any of them were & had to keep going to the bar to ask for information. The overall impression was one of complacency, nice venue, guaranteed clientele (golf club) so they have taken their eye off the ball with regard to the standard of fare being offered and the level of service.
A great go-to destination for it s food, wine & service. The staff are extremely efficient & friendly without hovering. Highly recommend this venue 9/10
