A group of us went. It was a reunion. The staff were attentive and helpful. The table had a great view of the lake so a very lovely outlook. Meals were varied. A friend and I had the seafood chowder which stipulated king prawns among other beautiful fish morsels. What we got was nothing like that. We complained and without question the meal was replaced with another of our choices. The waitstaff were very polite, interested and understanding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the restaurant. Our replacement for was wonderful.

I spent a great afternoon with my children here and even though there was a lot of rain we were still able to have a great father's day lunch and a cheeky hit at the driving range.
Fantastic venue with a beautiful outlook. A good wine selection priced reasonably. Food is tasty (especially the desserts) and a great atmosphere every time I have been here. Would definitely go again!
This restaurant was a brilliant choice for Valentine s Day with an incredible view of the course. The food was timely and well cooked, but could do with a little more flavour.
Myself and a group of friends ate here last night for a birthday celebration. The food was incredible, massive portions which gave value to what you spend and the staff were lovely all round.
Great place to hang out with your family n friends. The food was really nice, especially the beef cheek, it melts in your mouth. The lamb shank was a big portion and tasted good. If you're unsure, order.the tasting plate, which has a bit of everything. And when you're done, take your group to enjoy a bit of mini golf, it was sure a great way to spend your weekends especially when the sun is out n shining
We had our Year 2 School Christmas function on 25 Nov 2017 and I have never been more unimpressed. Upon arrival the bar staff were unfriendly and the service was very slow. The food platters that were provided were disgusting and our group of 50 left most of the trays full as was the consensus. One dish was a foul garlic flavour and required a mint. Upon asking the staff they responded with 'we are quite busy at the moment can you ask later'. The female Manager approached me 5 minutes later and said 'sorry the mints are only provided to the restaurant function patrons'. She was unbelievably rude and I suggest never visiting this place if you are looking for lovely food and friendly service.
Food is ok, venue is really lovely with a great kids play area. Our food was very variable from unpleasant to very nice. On the plus side, they have a great range of kids meals which is rare in Perth
We regularly enjoy 300 acres however the last 2 times have been disappointing and tonight beyond disappointing. We were the only table at the restaurant and waited an hour to be told our order had not made it to the kitchen. Although there was 4 staff behind the bar and a manager at no stage did anyone approach our table to see if we need any drinks or the status of our order. After inquiring the meal finally arrived cold and inedible. I would not recommend this venue.
The food was just fantastic, but our experience was unfortunately tainted by the attitude of the maitre d' Chloe and another waitress who treated us very rudely. It was quite obvious that asking for an indoor table on a 40 degree day was unreasonable of me, and boy did they let us know. I thought a table of 23 would have incurred just a little bit of welcoming politeness. We won't be back.
Went here for Mum's birthday lunch. Squid was tough , ale was warm , prawns we're not worth the price. The chips alcohol and atmosphere we're the best part.
Sunday night dinner and was really good. The outlook was part of the very positive experience overlooking the golf course as well as the very attentive wait staff looking after our table. We had... Brie & caramelized onion, garlic bread, Guinness pie, fish burger with sweet potato fries, fish & chips and the beef cheeks. Great size servings, cooked really well and perfectly presented. The only reason we didnt give it 5 stars, it took 50 minutes to get the food on the table but hey, they were very busy and it didn't matter that much anyway as the White Rabbit Ale we had beforehand made it worthwhile. Will be back next week to try something else. Thanks 300 Acres, we had a nice night!
2 stars for the view, food is way overpriced and very average. It was better when it first opened, like most restaurants in Perth but the quality has dropped considerably. Ok for a drink but don't waste your money on the food. My fish and chips weren't crispy and actually tasted like it had been microwaved...
We love this place, beautiful relaxing outlook. We had been for breakfast just before christmas and had to wait over an hour for our meals, it wasn't that busy and no explanation was given as to why there was such a long wait for breakfast. Food was good. We went again last night, not too busy, waited over an hour for our meals. The waitress came and apologized on this occasion and offered complimentary chips and dips?? I would have thought a glass of wine would have been a better offering, rather than food to fill up on before mains. Once again no explanation was given. My partner had the lamb rump which was over cooked but tasty, my crispy salmon was good. Wine selection good. Service is slow, staff don't seem to have a clue about customer service...
We went to an impromptu dinner at 300 Acres. The restaurant is located in the Wembly golf course. The restaurant has an amazing view of the green and Perth city view as well. We ordered, the Salt and pepper squid salad, Asian slaw charred pineapple, toasted peanuts. The salad was very good but unfortunately, the sauce of the salad was a bit on the sweet side. Chermoula chicken salad, mixed grains, hazelnuts kale, yoghurt dressing, was really good. 300gm Black Angus rump steak, carrot, mushroom, pangrattato chimichurri, the steak sauce pangrattato chimichurri is not to our liking. Chorizo, roasted red pepper, olives pizza was really good. The overall experience was that the portion of the food is very generous for the amount that we paid for. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will return to try the other dishes on the menu.
4 of us went for lunch a few weeks ago b4 Christmas and to be honest it really wasn't good. Food came out cold and had to be sent back but it's a nice place and we always give everywhere a second chance. So we went back a few weeks later and it was even worse. Service was terrible!!!! Tables were dirty had to ask 3 times to be cleaned and the people behind were exactly the same and the food was just not good at all and most of us left it. It just all needs to be addressed! Sorry wasn't going to write the review but you did ask. Good luck as you have a beautiful setting! just need to really look at what's going on.
It is what it is, a restaurant at the golf course. Not fancy but not cheap. Food was 3 out of 5, fish was not great quality but edible, beetroot gnocchi edible, kids bangers and mash the best of it. Service was friendly and polite. It s a 3 out of 5.
Had lunch on a Saturday, not very busy and food still took an unacceptably long time to come out. Food was also quite average which made the long wait worse. Expect more for the high prices and prime location. 3rd time trying here and all experiences much the same, guess that s a strike out now for me. Good place for a beer however...
Had minor issues with a staff member 'Sam'. He was working the counter of the bar. It wouldn't kill to smile a bit and keep a good attitude. Was very awkward whilst ordering.
Overall i do think this place is amazing and will be coming back!
We went there for my mums birthday. The food was lovely and the meals were huge. The service was spot on and the staff were amazing. It's such a lovely spot and view, with a children's playground next to the place. We had cup cakes that 300 acres suggested & they were lovely. We played mini golf after, which is a well thought out little green.
Great venue and lovely staff. Unfortunately food was hit and miss. A friend ordered the Chicken and it was amazing, however my seafood chowder could have been out of a can yet cost ~$27 , promised prawns and 3 types of fish, but couldn't really make out anything and definitely no prawns. None of the kids (normally not fussy) enjoyed their fish and chips either. Giving the feedback as I really hope they improve the consistency of the food as it was otherwise a wonderful experience, and I look forward to going back.
We all really enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent fast and friendly. Even though i found the food and service is good I did feel it was expensive. Great views particular on a nice day like the one when I was there, recommend a outdoor balcony seat. Loads of free parking. Good access for people with walking aids and impairments.
This place gets one star for a great playground but the food was disappointingly poor all around. Imagine picking up a slice of your chorizo pizza only for it to implode half way to your mouth. You collect the scraps and are reminded of the taste of pizza on a cheap Ryanair flight.
Beautiful setting, food and drinks are mostly good. One major issue I had is if you have more than a certain number of people coming you have to pay a deposit of $25 PER HEAD. Usually you would just pay a deposit on a table but per head is kind of ridiculous in my opinion... I understand the need for a deposit but $25 a head is very over the top. I know a lot of people who don't go here because of the $25 per head deposit so maybe look into that
Terrible. Over 1 hour wait for food the kids were climbing the walls. Was told half an hour and it wasn't even that busy, never. And... The salt and pepper squid salad was cold when it arrived. Never again.
I always play golf here and decided finally to have a meal here. Walked in and had to find ourselves a menu as no one came to help. Ordered 2 lamp rumps and were very disappointed in the way it was served. We like our lamb rare but it wasnt even blue. We were barely able to cut it and it was very chewy with no flavour. For the price they charge this is unacceptable and very disappointing.
What a wonderful venue ! Enjoyed a very tasty meal which was very well presented but rather expensive for what we got. Also, it took a long time to receive our meal considering it was a casual menu. There is lots of room to improve but we ll definitely go again because the whole vibe there was fantastic and lots of fun
The view from the terrace is relaxing enough in itself, then add the quality coffee, crisp fresh salads and you have a great spot to spend a lazy lunch or while away an afternoon.
The slow roasted beef cheek looked pretty scrumptious and the generous portion of potato wedges kept us all going until the meals arrived. I loved the flavours of the Asian salad with squid and would happily have this again and again.
The kids have a great place to let off some energy out the front but there's also space enough for all to enjoy their own day out too.
Probably the worst pub I have ever been to and I don t usually complain about meals. Ordered the angel hair pasta and it came in a ridiculously large bowl with a small hole in the middle where the food was. The sauce tasted nothing of lemon and it was inedible. No thought was put into the flavour. My partner ordered the steak sandwich and it was average although some of the wedges were uncooked. Needs more attention to detail, it is definitely overhyped
The place looks pretty nice, but the food is pretty average... We still had a good time with fam, but I don t think we will be back! The staff wasn t very very present either. Give it a try, but you won t be impress!
I went with a group of 20 or so people last night for dinner, and unfortunately I have been thoroughly disappointed by this establishment.
The service was dismaying - I was not finished with eating my bread roll and an employee approached our table and took my plate without asking me if I was finished with my meal or not. The etiquette was unsatisfactory, the server often leaned over the table instead of coming up to patrons. The staff agreed to take an order of a starter as the size a main course from one of my fellow patrons, but he recieved the starter as the size it originally was. The server did not know that the establishment do not serve starter menu items in main course sizes, it was unfortunate that she accepted an order of the mediterranean vegetable terrine in a main course size and could not deliver.
The quality and quantity of the food for the price it cost was, quite honestly, shocking. I ordered the seared shark bay scallops and the black label berkshire pork belly. The scallops were slightly undercooked, the cauliflower cream was extremely watered down and bland, and the jamon was essentially tasteless. The pork belly was too tough and the apple sauce was as lacking in taste as the cauliflower cream.
The location of this restaurant is pleasant (which is where my one star goes to), and offers a great view, and would make as an excellent place to go and have a drink, but I cannot recommend this place to anyone who is looking to enjoy a meal. I'm all for supporting our local businesses, but when a local business has no respect for their own business, how can I?
A great place for breakfast and brunch with a fab menu to choose from. Its awesome being able to book a table, although after ordering there is some delay. A cosy and relaxed atmosphere and I would recommend to others.
Visited 300 acres over 3 times. Every time, without fail, they deliver exceptional food with exceptional service. Chips are an all time favourite. Coffee is great. Pizza...made to perfection. And in a setting like this...it's one place I just enjoy visiting.
We went in a large group and the food was generally very good. Standouts were the potato croquettes (not pictured, because they disappeared too quickly!), the roast chicken with broccolini and the assorted mini desserts including cheesecake and custard puffs. The lamb rump was unfortunately overdone and rubbery but the accompanying gravy, sweet potato and carrots were lovely. Also not pictured but absolutely delicious: the jug of Pimms that we all loved. The restaurant overlooks a nice looking playground for older kids, although younger ones would enjoy it under close supervision.
Cold beer and good view off the balcony. Nice beef and Guiness pie, but the presentation of food is interesting, using old low cost dish in an attempt to appear niche.
