Great experience while searching for an apartment and through the application process. Did not have much difficulty in choosing this complex given that it was recommended by my firm as a great place to live. I have been here about a week now and things seem to be going well. Any minor issues during the first week have been addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Will keep updating this review as time passes.
I moved into this location a week ago and absolutely LOVE it! My leasing agent, Charles, made sure that I had a great pre-move in experience and made sure to answer all questions that satisfied my move in needs! Although it s only been a week, I can say that I can call 1160 Hammond home! I LOVE my unit. I LOVE the residents. The leasing office and their team are very responsive with any questions/concerns you may have. If Charles wasn t available at the time, Jacqueline was a BIG help! She assisted me with minor issues and resolved the request within 24-48 hours. I LOVE my view! I LOVE the maintenance and how upkept the property is. I LOVE the amenities and it s close to EVERYTHING! I can say that you are definitely getting what you pay for. I LOVE the security, especially having an infant. I don t feel unsafe at all. I would say before you read the negative reviews, PLEASE tour the location first and get a judgement yourself because you ll be missing out on a GREAT home! It s very clean, well kept, and I don t plan moving any time soon! Thank you again, Charles and Jacqueline for assisting me and my baby and welcoming us into our new home! We greatly appreciate it and thank management for having such a great team! :)
I've lived here for about 4 months now and so far I'm enjoying my apartment. The building is close to everything and I love my unit.
If you're thinking of renting here I would specifically ask Jacqulyn. She was my leasing agent and made my first renting experience as smooth as possible from my tour to any questions I've had in my 4 months here. My only negative experiences here have been the noises the water pipes sometimes make and dealing with Charles as any question I've had for him has made me feel like an inconvenience.
Actually there is no issue with apartment but the new parking monitoring company (3rd party) is the biggest issue. They just boot cars for no reason. I would suggest please dont lease here, you would just pay booting fines for either your car or your guest's car. Feels like I am parking my car in jail or lockup. It's sad that apartment needs 3rd party vendor to monitor thier own apartment parking.
Charles had so much class and manners. He handles all accommodations with style and grace. He makes living here comfortable.
Jacqueline was absolutely amazing man, I m serious. Still in the process of trying to relocate here, but the beginning process has been amazing thanks to this young lady. Nice job Hammond
DO NOT RENT HERE! Leasing Office Staff is incapable of communicating solutions and will easily pass you off with no assistance. They DO NOT care about residences, and flooding in your apartment good luck.. My carpet was soaked with water... what did they do you ask? some fans and a humidifier. No apology, no concession, nothing.. So the contractor they called to "replace" the carpet DID NOT!!! he just place more padding under the old carpet and left nails exposed for my 8yr old to walk over. It a f'n one bedroom apartment, with ONLY the bedroom carpeted, not expensive at all. They just do not care. I REPEAT DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
The community is comfortable, impeccably maintained by a team of maintenance staff and cleaning crew/grounds personnel. In addition, the leasing staff are knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and professional.
I give the property experience Six (6) Stars.

When I first moved in, I loved this place. The amenities are great, however I am not fond of the parking and the new parking rules. We don't even have a callbox to let deliveries or guests within the gate but they expect them to park on the 6th floor as overflow parking and if there isn't a callbox how are you going to get a boot removed if parked within the gate? I don't think this was thought out properly and hoping things change within the upcoming months.
This place is so loud. Spend your money elsewhere. I haven t been able to get a good nights rest since I moved in. My neighbor has three dogs that bark at all hours and my upstairs neighbor must be practicing for Cirque du Soleil at 1am every single night. Seriously, for the money you will spend here, please go somewhere that takes noise levels seriously. This is unlivable and I can t wait to move out.
