Used to be the home of the most important democracy in the world but for the past 20 odd years has been a 24 hr laundrette - full spin cycles all the time.

I have epileptic fits and learning disability and since my benefits have been cut i live on 22.50 if i could work i would but i count so government help me and over who need the help.
You can't see a thing because it's all locked down.
Waste of time ...
looks nice upon first glance but the kitchen is lacking in equipment and the woman who lives there is a Grinch like megalomaniac
margaret tacher fue una mujer unica a pesar de sus errores fue una de las mejores primeras ministra del reino unido e irlada del norte
I'm a bit disappointed. I thought this place looks more impressive. But for a change, the surroundings are more impressive.
This really exists!?! I didn't realize that we were actually represented by someone that lives in a house in London.
I've always thought Number 10. was just a phrase to describe the magical pixies that spread taxation dust all over Britain and magically converting people to fight for them against the evil opposition they call the Terrorist Goblins who live in a firey cave somewhere far and distant.
5 Stars for making all my dreams come true. For this i thank you with %30 of everything i earn + extras
It's very busy place but even there is lots of fun ...nice food...nice.. people and friendly people
Went round to visit me mate Dave who used to live here, but some unfriendly woman answered the door and said it was her gaff now because Dave had lost his job and had to move out. I told her I did. I said you should have invited me in for some tea and buns, like Dave used to. No wonder no one likes you. She started crying and said she understood why no one liked her but being liked had never been terribly important to her. You re wrong, I told her. Everyone needs mates. She slammed the door in my face. I put some old sweetie wrappers I had in my pocket through the letter box and ran away.
The Prime minister of Great Britain Considers Me Her Step Son! Teresa May! Why does she not provide British Secret Service for Me? I am in a Homeless Shelter in San Francisco California USA HELP! I am Prince Maurcel The Eldest Grandson of Queen Elizabeth the ll Thank you...Its Great To Be British!!!!
i couldnt get in there cos the gate was shut for some reasons
The street where you live with the British prime minister is a place that tourists should visit, even if you can only see from behind the barrier. A metal cage and some beautiful well-armed police officers protect this spectacular place ..
I like the door and the big gate... could use more Corbyn though.
Lucky enough to have a photo stop whilst working with my Metropolitan Police colleagues. It is place of interest whether you like the PM or not.
A very nice place but high security deprives a visitor of any deep insights
From What I know everything that happens here is completely useless
Due to the needs of security, this area is closed off. You can only see the outside of the building. In addition, lots of protesters are in the immediate area.
can you believe that Terissa may won primeinister today 13,07,16 who do you thinks better her or david cameron?
nice to meet david, had great banta. 10/10 would burgle again
The number 10 Downing Street is known for the residence of the Prime Minister of England, for safety it is a street closed to the public on foot. It is one of the curiosities of many others that London has. Many people will take a picture at the door of the street that is fenced.
Iconic location which is heavily guarded but we'll worth visiting, lots of tourist's visiting can be difficult to get good photos.
Downing Street is situated approximately half way between Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square in the city of Westminster. This is where the British Prime Minister famously resides and offices at 10 Downing Street.
Unfortunately, long gone are the days when you could walk down Downing Street and take a picture in front of the famous residence. Now, the entire street is gated off and guarded, meaning you can only peek the gate from quite a distance away.
In the end, perhaps worth a quick peek through the gate if you are visiting Whitehall area attractions or simply making your way between Trafalgar Square, Parliament Square and/or Green Park. Otherwise, just buy a postcard of the famous residence at one of the souvenir shops and be on your way.
The most famous door in the world; 10 Downing Street. The likes of Margeret Thatcher and Winston Churchill were Prime Ministers here.
My personal score is 10/10 & I also award my Gold Star for Excellence.
Of couse you can't go inside, but recommend visting the outside
The residence of the prime minister, visible only from outside the gate, nothing to be missed
Historical (and very protected) residence of the British Prime Minister. Protesters/activists are often found somewhere close by.
Alleged workplace of our prime minister, when he's not swanning around the world...
Only place in London I've seen without homeless people on the street, I guess they save the last of the police budget to enforce the anti-homeless laws on their spot.
Might consider a new, better review once we have a gov't that actually represents the people. <signs off forever>
very hyped for this venture, however shot for civil disobedience so less inclined to revisit, just three stars from me
I was thoroughly disappointed that this is in fact not where Mr. IHE lives.
Really nice shame you can't walk down it though that's what you used to be able to obviously I understand why but I still don't change. B experience isn't as good as it used to be even servo very nice
Never accomplished anything good for the British citizens, just another posh pig trying to bring England upside down
I remember as a kid, being allowed to walk about in downing street. Back before the political class made themselves so incredibly unpopular that they felt the need for massive armed protection and unbelievably expensive security arrangements (which us taxpayers pay for)
If you don't want people throwing eggs at you, try not being a dick...
This is because our nation's well-loved governors in the United Kingdom. Soon had a reputation if the world finishes lives the street goes last.. Gokce Kavak, Mon 08/12/14
Not much to see This is where the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom lives and works. The only problem is the road is of limits to tourist and all you can see is armed guards blocking off the road where 10 downing Street is.
Saw a weird Lorax walking near here today with a strange goblin creature, both of which own countries. I am very disgruntled and angered by such a sight. #DeportAllGoblins #LoraxGoHome #TheYoutubeCommentsSection
Not sure if Borris was home for a beer! Would have been good, but we were on a tight schedule as had many a place to visit all in the one day we walked around London (apparently approximately 14km) and loved calling by 10 Downing Street and seeing this iconic place. Heavily guarded and rightly so these days.
Always disappointed you can't get closer. Really should look at the layout to improve on the tourist touch
You can only peek through the gate which is obviously manned
You can't reach the famous door. Security block the entire street from the corner.
The street is now closed to the public. The guards there are pretty friendly though :)
Not possible to get very close to the PM residence, but nice to visit the plaza out back and see the architecture regardless. There s a nice park across the street as well.
Essential :-) Historical and political importance. It does not impress by size or majesty.
When it comes to an election i would recommend to every single person to NOT VOTE for any political party that will give you the same broad views of this will happen or that will happen immediatly when in fact they LIE like every damn day in the whole godless world. Voting DOESN'T change a damn thing, it just creates very little significance for our lives. Why be complicit and pretend that this social system works when you all know that it doesn't work well enough for you. If there's ever an election occuring now then don't bother voting for anyone. The conservatives, liberals, democrates and republicans will never solve our problems and human needs because they are not trained to do so. Even politicians fit in with the topic of not helping any human concern. They only care about their bonuses, war, money, gold, weapons, the army/navy, lying, business and many more paralysing addictions with less relevance of social concern with the community of the nation. They'll do what ever they can in order to stay in power, they'll not going to give it up and that's what you gonna keep in mind. they'll won't subscribe to a different system such as a resourse based economy because it won't be in their kind to perpetuate them. The system has to FAIL in order to restart a newer civiliasation that'll be sustainable, efficient and abundant to everyone on the planet with everyone being equal with no crimes, violence, war, poverty and many more else. DON'T VOTE IF YOU WANT CHANGE DRAMATICALLY.
Who ever is in office its job remains the same as well as unction they carry to implement their roles within sheer honesty in favour of the people on a whole.
Nice. On a side note, those bobbies have a great sense of humor. The horses, not so much.
I have heard more and more about 10 downing street, Hope Inshallah I will visit once this Place.
It s a must to go to London. It s a must to go to charing cross, big ben and other departments. The building is very beautiful, and there are many people in the whole day. The route is good from the beginning to the end, and you really have to go slowly. It's not wrong to try slow work.
The headquarters of the Prime Minister of Great Britain.
Not a tourist attraction. All you can see is a guarded gate
Beautiful Georgian townhouse with pictures of all UK's PMs lining up the staircase. Incredible interior. Too bad they don't open it up to the public.
Not much to see here, apart from a huge black gate. Lots of armed police guarding the street entrance. Can't see number 10, let alone get in.
