I used to work here when I was a cabinet minister back in the '60s. I have to say it has gone downhill significantly since then. The current steward seems a bit dishonest, particularly when it comes to Europe. Also you can't walk down the street like you could way back when....

Without much tourist value given that security can not be approached (something that is very understandable and logical).
It is not worth wasting time given that you can not see almost anything, except from a distance you see a building that is not very different from others in the same street.

Very nice place had a lovely breakfast and cuppa tea with Theresa.

The police who guard are willing to respond to the photo shoot, so you can feel the gentleness of England despite the harsh atmosphere

A stunning place to visit.
Guided tours are available (though I gather not too often), mine was arranged by my MP and we were shown around by the Head of Facilities. Naturally, the building is steeped in history with items of furniture and artwork which amaze and impress. Being a working building we were encouraged to make use of the seating in the Pillared Room and able to view everything up-close without areas being roped-off although the tour was limited to the rooms which are available to view virtually online. The experience was genuinely interesting and 10 Downing Street is probably the most impressive place I've visited.
Anybody fortunate enough to be offered a tour of No. 10 should jump at it!

I went there with chior and met Nicole sherzenger and the 2012 x factor finalists it was a great evening.

I agree this location would be perfect for a homeless shelter, this would be a much better and more important use. Perhaps even an NHS or somewhere to look after the disabled people shunned by diabolical political mastermind - the Evil Emporer Ian Duncan Smith. A secure house for the head of the Westminster swamp. Its a pity this level of security is not afforded to the good people who pay for this charade. No we are not united in our grief. 10 Downing Street is not a tourist attraction at all because we can see nothing interesting in reason of police and the gate that block the tourists.

number 10 Downing Street is one of the most historical buildings in the world. My late father Andrew Olivier was an advisor 2 to theRudds Ambers family and I have been an advisor to Theresa May. There are many things I would like to speak to Mr Johnson about a few things I am getting quite bored of brexit and now for the first time I'm I'm speaking about it the way I see it is we went into Europe but we kept hold of the pound so we are not completely in and we never have been are money has stayed the same so I can't everything else I'm pretty sure if if the government could control immigration we the country the United Kingdom would be quite content on staying in Europe.
I don't know if you're going to be able to manage to get out of Europe by the end of next month if so so be it but if not what so beer as well Que Sera Sera whatever will be will be the future is bright we don't need orange to tell us we'll see.
