Very stylish restaurant
When we had dinner at 20:00 it was crowded but many people finished and it was quiet around 21:00. Bread and butter pudding for dessert was heavy after 2 plates course.

Charming typical restaurant of the district #Bank (big round table and pretty place). Very friendly staff and good food (lamb, salmon: see photo menu), bottled water is not expensive.

Service was wonderful and the food was delicious. They were very accommodating with our daughter and we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. The atmosphere was very light and pleasing in the middle of a cute neighborhood. The desserts were especially memorable.

Only here for beers, but the place had brilliant service and a lovely civilised ambience. I got food envy from certain other guests.

Good service, good food, reasonably priced - bar too close to tables, creates an uncomfortable conflict between diners and drinkers.

Great location. Had the English breakfast, would recommend the scrabbled eggs over fried. Customer service and breakfast on my first visit was not great but they made it up with a free return visit which shows their dedication to get things right. If Google gave an option I'd actually rate at 4.5 stars, but an giving the benefit of the doubt that they will continue to strive for excellence with a 5 star review.

Run down interior, poor service, low quality food and rowdy clientele. This used to be one of the nicer restaurants locally, but now to be avoided.

Food absolutely superb, but did feel we were rushed a little by the waiting staff, especially disappointing as it wasn't very busy. Maybe it was just efficiency but didn't quite make for the relaxed ambience we were looking for.

Great place for low key drinks in the heart of the City. The brasserie also serves lovely food and they usually have a fab 2 or 3 course set menu. The service can be a little slow but it's still one of my favourite places to go around Bank.

quute competent. good for business lunches, though the tables are a bit close for quiet conversation. nice bar after work.

Decor is awesome but really very expensive. We had some celebrations on the past but now we try to avoid.

Nice place to have coffee along with business meeting, this place has a charm wherein most of the meetings which we do out here converts into an opportunity along with it being successful deal.

It s a very nice place to have dinner and business with someone. The food is very nice and they have a whole range you can choose from. I really enjoyed the breakfast as well

Beautiful restaurant, excellent food and excellent service

1776 is a fine, centrally located restaurant in a fairly interesting space. The restaurant boasts a strong and deep wine list and a fairly diverse menu with meat and fish options. The dover soul is a standout. Table service is stronger than bar service, where the staff can appear disinterested. Beer selections are poor.

Came here one evening a few years ago with some colleagues.



None of us had any issues with the food either.

Overall, very good and I would recommend this restaurant.

A really great restaurant. The prices are humane. Very nice and friendly service. I was visiting London. But I will come back here.

Perfect place to have breakfast in the City, business people all around, but jovial ambience. Great English Breakfast and perfect eggs Benedict.

Stylish, opulent bistro with fabulous ceiling dome over circular bar. excellent service.
