I have to tell you I was very intrigued by the technology of Vivint. The number one thing I wanted out of my security system was access when we weren't home. We thought we got that but when it was installed the camera didn't work and then the panel didn't work. They fixed the problem with the cameras and eventually got the panel working correctly. Through all of this they kept calling me telling me I owed $200. Each time I spoke with at least two different people and they kept telling me I was right and it would be credited to my account. Eventually I began calling each time I got my bill and would talk to several different people before hearing something different but with the same conclusion. This past month I called again and got a different person tgat of course had to transfer me to a different person so I could explain my story for the 10th time. This time the person from Vivint did go the extra mile to listen to their recorded conversation about the original agreement but didn't go and listen to the 3 other calls where they told me the account would be credited. So I will pay the $200 since in this case I feel like there isn't much more I can do. Along with all of this really poor customer service they have really poor antiquated cameras that work half the time. The thermostat they offer wasn't compatible with my house. No real explanation as of why. So I went out and bought Nest thermostat and cameras and love them. In closing they have a good start but execution and customer service isn't there strong suit.
