I was not expecting much from this zoo, but was thoroughly impressed. With exception of a couple exhibits, the layout and structure was very animal-friendly. The animals seemed contained but hardly caged in. The food court was surprisingly fair priced and great! The best part of the whole experience were the workers. My meal was comp'd at the food court due to a mild delay, which was far from necessary. Workers would integrate us, patrons, into their feeding and work responsibilities, such as feeding a geiko and talking about the bear!

Some reviews have stated the zoo being on a hill and hard to navigate. I would agree, but they offer transportation services for just a couple bucks.
