Very disappointed, I would recommend the management of the campground to educate their staff better, especially the young guy who was on duty at the entrance on Wednesday 12/7 between 7 and 8 pm (hopefully not all your staff are like this or god help us all). We are two cyclists cycle touring from Canada to Argentina and obviously we CAN'T possibly book months in advance. That's why walk in sites were invented. I'm very sorry to say that Banff National Park is not prepared at all for the load of tourists in view of Canada's 150th birthday. This guy turned us away immediately, not trying to find a solution and didn't forget to remind us how many grizzlies are around. There are two tents per site, what about asking other campers if they would mind to share??? We were saved by two German cyclists who found us in town and shared their site with us (which they got only by luck when somebody cancelled, otherwise they would have the same destiny as they met the same polite gentleman at the entrance). So thank you, but never ever Lake Louise Campground again!
