Beautiful hotel. Customer service and attention to detail is lacking. Had to ask for a coffee cup the first day- after waiting for quite a while they show up with everything but the cup.
Had a misunderstanding with housekeeping and the manager came by and offered us a credit, which we appreciated but it seems they re severely understaffed. I felt terrible for the housekeeping staff.
Drinks at the pool are a joke. We asked for an extra shot and were charged $14 for the drink, $14 for the extra shot, and were still left wondering if it had alcohol in it after dropping $28 on it.
Ordered lattes at 4 am and was told it d take 20 min... 45 min later and they show up with cold lattes that were more milk than anything.
The spa was nice, however if you show up early to do the pre-treatment ritual you ll want to wear a watch. They have one clock in the area and you can t see it from the majority of the pre-treatment area. Kind of hard to relax when you have to worry about the time and going downstairs to meet your massage therapist. I ve been to spas that charge $120/hr and have natural hot springs baths that were more attentive than this. I m used to getting in the pools/baths/steam rooms, etc. and being asked by the attendant what time my appt is. They ALWAYS tell me to relax and enjoy and they ll worry with the time and come get me when it s time to get ready for my massage. That is relaxation.
I was never asked about allergies or asked to fill out paperwork and the only lotion they had was full of things I m allergic to if they come into contact with my face. Very odd experience. The massage was nice.
We also smelled something that resembled sewage or feces in the parking garage and by the restaurants.
