I believe there policy in the (expanded ER) is to see how long they can make you wait on service before they'll do something. Seen 7 different nurses or medical assistants, two doctors (usually 20 minutes apart). Brought an IV in 1hour ago (for dehydration) and finally hooked it up. Reminds me of a government operation where you "hurry up and wait." Seems like a lack of coordination as they are not busy...just confused.

Just finished, 2 1/2 hours die to incompetence. Gr8 healthcare personnel, very shoddy policies and practices. They wrote a script, on paper, to be filled at the BMC Pharmacy. Unable to electronically send to them. That is reserved for Dr's offices ONLY. Can you believe state-of-art ER and inable to electronically send a script?
