Roaches in room, elevator broken for months, leaki...

Roaches in room, elevator broken for months, leaking roof, TV that doesn't work, etc. This resort has a retro, modern style but hasn't been kept up well. I've stayed numerous times over the last year and nothing ever seems to get fixed. Bringing it up at checkout yields a quick apology and nothing more.

If you're looking for a vacation spot, the beach is almost always red flag with heavy surf and isn't as nice as the beach on Isla Verde a few miles away, but La Concha and this part of the beaches in the Condado area are nice for relaxing on a beach chair. They also have three different pools including one that's adult-only, which is very nice as many other local resorts have one big pool and tons of kids.

They have a few restaurants but you'll pay a lot ($16+ for a mediocre continental breakfast of stale pastries and juice/coffee), although there's many other choices in walking distance. They also have a big casino and a bar area. Another plus is on-site parking where they'll validate your entire stay with a ticket that lets you easily come and go unlike some of the other resorts in the area (i.e. valet only, have to pay/validate every day).

Housekeeping does their best and if you get a great price and a clean room without bugs or mold it's not a bad choice, but definitely not a solid three-plus star resort, let alone four star hotel.
