I was at a conference in Miami and wanted to get out of the hotel. This restaurant was recommended by a friend. I took an Uber from the Intercontinental to Wynwood and then walked to the restaurant. I showed up at about 7:00 with no reservation and was promptly seated.
The outdoor patio was great, secluded from the street with viewing access to the kitchen and server station. It was bustling, lots of couples, families and peeps out for the night (was a Friday).
I ordered a beer and the moussaka. The crusty bread was served in a small paper bag, and was perfect with olive oil. The moussaka was bomber, super creamy served in a small ramekin. I love making moussaka at home, I have a couple recipes (one vegetarian, one lamb) and this was by far the est moussaka I've ever had.
Service was good, servers were jovial, and having worked in restaurants for 25 years I was able to commiserate. Good conversation.
The only reason I would give four stars is because they should have warned me that dining alone was selfish and I should have brought my wife :)
