My bf and I had a stop over in Cairns from 5am til...

My bf and I had a stop over in Cairns from 5am till 3pm and after researching on trip advisor for places to stay we found that the Hilton does day stays. i asked for earlier check in as day stays start at 9am and they were happy to accommodate for an extra $30 which isn't too bad at all. The Hilton is a short taxi ride from the airport and the receptionist was really lovely. The room was spacious and clean and the views we had from our balcony was good :)
