One of the world's most renowned masterpieces of the Renaissance and of course by Michelangelo, it is housed inside the Galleria dell Accademia, Florence. Perhaps not as well known as the Uffizi Museum, it is only a 14 minute walk away, so be sure to take in both. Highly advisable to buy your tickets ahead of time. We visited here a few years back with a prearranged guided tour group. Well worth the price in both occasions.
