I visited Passport BMW on Thanksgiving weekend and test drove a new 2016 X1. My Client Advisor, Teric, was professional, respectful, helpful and patient throughout my decision and purchase process. I ran into the General Manager, David, at the dealership's coffee station. Teric introduced us to each other, and David was very personable. When it came to making a purchase decision, rather than going back and forth, Teric brought in Tony to explain the possible purchase price, trade-in value and financing options for me to consider. At no time did I feel pressured and both Teric and Tony listened to my own purchase criteria and financial constraints. In fact, both respected and understood that I was not yet ready to make a decision and I departed to think about whether I was ready "to put myself into a new BMW". Teric touched base with me by text and phone a couple of times just to check-in if I had any questions, but again - I felt no pressure. I made an appointment with Teric several days later, we agreed upon a purchase price over the phone, I explained it was a work day and I did not want to spend 2-3 hours at the dealership processing paper. Teric emailed me most of the paperwork that needed to be completed which I completed and faxed back to him. When I arrived at Passport, Teric quickly took care of me, confirmed the purchase price,while Tony explained the finance options. The final portion of the purchase contract process was handled most professionally by Passport's Business Manager, Jeff, who clearly explained the extended maintenance options, carefully and efficiently laid out and explained all of the papers to be reviewed and signed, and took the time to answer the few questions I had regarding my purchase. Jeff was most personable, was the consummate professional and invited me to contact him with any questions following my purchase. About a week after my purchase, one of Passport's BMW Geniuses, Luigi, drove about 30 miles to my place of work in Columbia, MD and patiently and competently walked me through all of the features of my new X1. In 90 minutes, Luigi walked me through most key functionality and answered in detail each of the 20+ questions that I threw at him. I have been very satisfied with my new X1 and even more satisfied with the outstanding before, during, and after of my purchase process with all of the Passport BMW team who have worked with me. Passport BMW exemplifies what the car buying experience should be. While many dealerships may strive for this level of professionalism, expertise, respect, and patience, Passport BMW fulfills their commitment to each customer. At least this customer.
