The three stars that i have given in this review are for very good location and nice spread of breakfast.
Now comes the part where the lost the remaining two stars. We booked the cheapest room which is around 5000 per night. It was no surprise the the room is on the farthest corner possible of the property, not to mention did not have any view. This is acceptable considering there are guests who are willing to pay much more for these things. But there are few things that were totally unacceptable. The washroom and shower areas are seperate. While the shower area is good, then washroom is pathetic. The gap between the door and lock is so big you can actually see the person inside.
The room service for food is very veryy slow( this also depends on the type of room i guess). The keycards did not work properly and we were late to our site seeing trips because of this issue more than once. On top of it, when we return from a tiring day and ask the housekeeping staff in the floor to help with the keycard problem, they ask us to go all the way down to reception and get it fixed ourselves( remember the farthest corner?)
I believe that nothing is more important in the hospitality industry other can courtesy and customer satisfaction. Too bad Radisson Blu Udaipur is as bad on those parameters as beautiful is the hotel itself.
