The friendliest airport I have been to, that in itself deserves 5 stars. Of course it is clean, well organised, spacious. There is one terminal but two sides, A and B. Find out before hand where your check in is! We unloaded our baggage at the A side but found out our check in was on the B side! When your short on time, even walking (running!!) to the other side takes away precious minutes! Every single attendant working there will greet you and say goodbye. In my experience of over a dozen international airports, this is THE FIRST THAT HAS HAPPENED. in fact at one stop I forgot to greet the gentleman, and he said hello to me 3 times before I realised what I had done wrong! Well done Budapest airport for your hospitality! Pave the way!
