We Stayed at Hilton cairns on the night of the 26th September 2020(one night) - paid $422.42 which included breakfast and $100 incidentals...
On our stay; I complained as the kitchen table being a heavy glass top was unusable as the legs were bent, the air conditioner did not
Get below 24degrees (it was like a hot box) and the kitchen cupboards kept opening which had to be closed each time to access the bathroom. - this was our first night out with a 5month old baby and I was mortified; when I went to remove my vehicle from the car park I was also hit with a $30 parking fee straight from my debit card...
I did complain to the front desk, who did remove $75.00 for the inconvenience... leaving the final amount of the room at $247.42 ..... well I ve ended up being charged both prices and I still haven t received my $100 back for incidentals... this leaves our 1 night get away at around $700.00..

If this is how we are treated as locals, imagine how our tourists are treated??

I m absolutely pinged off to say the least, I have put a complaint in and was promised my funds back yesterday but still nothing
