The experience started off great, it looks awesome from the outside... Definitely could use some more signage on the main roads but not necessary. As you walk in you see the Waterpark through the windows. We waited in line for about 5 minutes and we went to our room. The room was OK, definitely stayed in nicer rooms but it wasn't bad. They were missing a microwave but had 2 big showers and a nice balcony. Day 1 went great, my 6 and 4 year olds loved the Waterpark and most things were the perfect size for them. Lifeguards are abundant and attentive. Felt very safe the whole time. There is not alot to do if you have younger children. Also my 4 yr old could only go on about half of the slides even with me riding with him.... Night 1 we realize we have the loudest Air conditioning unit ever and it squeaks and bangs. Okay well. I can't sleep through that so I figured I'd relax. In the jacuzzi, When I turned on the Jacuzzi black stuff shot out and filled up the tub.... Day 2 was not so great, we wake up to a text from Great Wolf saying the Waterpark opens late at 10am instead of 9am. I ask why and am not given a answer, I take a photo of the schedule provided in the room and ask for clarification and get an apology. OK kinda disappointed we lose an hour but whatever, so we clean up eat some breakfast watch TV and kill some time. 9:40 we head down to the front desk to check out and we see people in the Waterpark..... When we get to the front desk we ask and she says "yeah it doesn't open until 10" we say "OK why are there people in there" she says "they are employees" without even going to see that CHILDREN are running around in the Waterpark. Either Great Wolf Lodge employs child labor ORRR those weren't employees at all...... The employees at the front desk are trained on the POS system but I'm not sure they have ever helped a customer or have any skills that would make people think they could. Absolutely worthless.

They say a manager will call.... We go in and play in the water until noon when a manager calls. She did not act like she cared, she gives me excuses about them not being ready to open yet and they are still figuring some things out. Said they were opening late for "no real reason" and 1 day last week they didn't open until 1pm...Was this information supposed to make me feel better? Because it did not work, it just made me even more sure I won't make this mistake again. She eneded up offering me $100 credit..... After I wasted more of my time with that I went over to Taco restaurant in the Waterpark and ordered 2 plain tacos with cheese, 5 minutes later I get tacos with everything on them. I tell them it's wrong and the chef starts to pick each piece of cilantro and onion off one by one.......... I tell them they need to remake them, and they did without hesitation. They also gave me free burrito bowl because the lady who took my order was rude and the chef even heard it. The head chef at the taco restaurant is awesome and definitely cares about his product. The Waterpark could have been designed alot better for kids, both of my kids feet and knees are raw from the edges of the pools because they don't have enough ladders and ways out of them. They have a pool with basketball hoops but 4 basketballs? The outside "Waterpark" is a cold pool..... Most of the cleaning staff we ran into could not speak English and we saw them enter rooms with customers inside, one of them the woman on the inside screamed and the employee shut the door and laughed. This used to be Key lime cove before it was shut down for bed bugs and caught on fire. They spent alot of money on the remodel and then they filled it with employees who don't seem to care about the guest experience.
