Staycation, our experience was Arizona NOT Grand. This place used to be good. Quick check in, good restaurants. Not bad at the water park. In the last two-three years we stayed here including this weekend will not be back. Service in Lobby Grill was hit or miss and hostess on Sunday acted like she was doing us a favor by getting our names to wait for a table. I asked our server TWICE for salsa and ended up getting up and getting it for myself. I think locals come here and use the pools and the staff maybe doesn't care because I never saw security once. The area is in a sketchy part of town and now the resort is starting to show it with the guests or freeloaders. The staff are mainly millennials that could care a less about service. Rooms are NOT worth $200 a night. Lots of noise.
Money better spent in Scottsdale especially with lower summer rates in Arizona. Sad as this used to be our go to spot to have some fun. They care about making money and treat the paying customers like crud while they ignore local freeloaders. Au Revoir AZ not so Grand.
