AVOID SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Why?

AVOID SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Why?

1. They claimed the entire throttle body on our car needed replacement and that the sensor "can't" be replaced on our car model. That was a lie and another Hyundai dealer replaced sensor for $40 bucks (versus 500+ for part)

2. Even through we told them upfront our car was American, they tried to run software updates that didn't work and then they couldn't reinstall the old software. Ultimately, we had to TOW OUR VEHICLE TO THE U.S. AT OUR OWN EXPENSE to get reprogrammed after they sat on it doing nothing for days.

3. They gave us a complimentary car rental during the process (only positive thing...well so we thought), only to call us over a month after we had left the dealership and settled the bill to try and tell us we needed to pay for the car rental and that they never told us it was free.

Absolutely unacceptable service and massive waste of our money, time, and energy. Very unprofessional place with zero ability to take ownership of mistakes.
