I want to thank Dr. Doug Politz, Dr. Deva Boone and the entire staff at the Norman Parathyroid Center for the surgery of removing a parathyroid adenoma and a partial left thyroid lobectomy from me on August 26, 2019. The Sestamibi scan had showed that I had an enlarged thyroid making the parathyroid surgery that more difficult. Once known, the entire staff took extra care to make sure I was treated safely and effectively during the entire procedure. My surgery took longer than normal but in the end the operation was a complete success. I don t think I would have had the same confidence with anyone else performing the operation. You are true professionals here at the Norman Parathyroid Center.
I must point out that on the evening after the operation, I was eating ice cream and I noticed that my eye sight was clearer. Previously my eyesight seemed a little out of focus even with my glasses on (as if I lived in a fog). Now it is like someone turned on a switch (adjusted the binoculars) and my eyesight became much clearer. This is wonderful. I can t wait to see how other things in my life will change for the better. Thank you again Dr. Politz, Dr. Boone and everyone else involved in my operation.
