I usually stay at Best Western when I travel, whether for business or for leisure, primarily because the properties are consistently clean and well-maintained, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. The Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Best Western was no exception. However, the walls at this property - or at least in our room - seem to be unusually thin. For example, we could hear (with disturbing clarity) virtually every bathroom noise in the adjacent room. I've stayed in many different hotels and motels, and though walls are sometimes thin and muffled noises can be heard, they've never been as bad as they were in this particular room. In all fairness, I've stayed at this Best Western property in the past and it wasn't a problem, so it could have been just our room. Regardless, it made an otherwise great experience something less.
