I had to put my beloved dog (Shadow) of 20+ years to sleep yesterday. As you may know it was one of the most painful decisions I ve had to make. I was very limited financially and I couldn t get my vet to do it that day so I found veterinary Referral & critical care Hospital and they we so very friendly and helpful so that s where we went. I was very upset and everyone I dealt with were so very kind and understanding and very patient. We were given the pricing and realized we didn t have enough money to have the type of services we wanted. The amazing staff came to us and told us the girls in the back said they would pay the difference so that I would be able have a private cremation and get to take her ashes home. I couldn t believe how wonderful these people were. I didn t get all of their names but I want to say once again Thank you very much to Becca, Tina, Pierre (the doctor) and all of the amazing staff. As it turned out the doctor was able to adjust the fees so the bill would be within my price range. I was able to be with my Shadow, along with my daughter and granddaughter outside on a beautiful day and the vet came out to us when we were ready so I could hold her one last time as she passed peacefully. I will miss her always and feel grateful to the vet hospital.
