Wish I could give this hospital no stars! This is the most unprofessional, uncaring hospital I could ever imagine. It all began in the ER where we sat for 23 hours! Husband was sent here by his MD and had orders that he was dehydrated and to rule out meningitis, no ever gave him an IV or did they move him into a area where other could not become infected if he actually had it. We never lost our cool or was rude to anyone. Just checked the status on his condition and naturally asked when he would be moved to a room. Once admitted on the 2nd day the attending Physician on the floor, whom we had never met before she came into his room for 8 minutes, out of no where, accused my husband of not liking doctors. We were shocked and confused. Even if that were the case (which is was not) what does that have to do with the care you should be providing. That 8 minute inappropriate line of questioning was the last time we seen or heard from her even thought we request 3 times to talk to her. Then I walked up and heard his Nurse and the Phlebotomist in the hallway discussing my husband's care in the open for anyone to hear. What happened to bedside manner and patient confidentiality? Our family, has a pact, never to take any of us to Henry Piedmont unless we have a stroke and only have a 30 minute window for survival!
