Lots of shade, small parking lot with one handicap space. Lovely grounds for walking - some hilly areas are not easily accessible but an all-terrain wheelchair may do. Lovely selection of native plants at onsite nursery, with helpful staff and volunteers. In winter (Nov-Feb), closes 2 hours earlier at 3 pm. Kid and family friendly: short hike to creative outdoor space with all-ages stuff to crawl on. Dog-friendly but for calm pooches: This is a quiet place to walk and roam. Onsite features include beautiful native plants in bloom around trails (mostly unpaved), meadow, woodlands, and small outdoor performance area. Nice carvings and other artwork throughout as well.
