Once we had boarded our return flight we were informed that there would be a delay of roughly 60-90 minutes.

I then tried to call the number provided on the email to inform the company that there would be a delay (our flight numbers for both journeys were supplied to hoppa when the booking was made).
I had to google Hoppas contact number as it was not provided in any correspondence, to then be on hold in excess of ten minutes, all whilst my battery was dying with no way of charging. I only ended the phone call as my battery and phone had died.

We arrived back at stanstead to have no driver present. A friend and myself were both on hold for in excess of 20 minutes each before being told by the taxi provider that we did not supply the flight number for the return trip, I had. (After speaking to our intended driver, it turns out that Hoppa had not passed on our flight number to our intended driver which caused him to wait for around an hour, claim our fare and then take another job, leaving us stranded)

The provider told us to contact hoppa - another 20 minutes on hold. Hoppa told us that in their terms and conditions, any delay over two hours will then count as a new booking - this from an airport transfer service is disgraceful. The worst thing is, we tried to contact them before the two hour mark, but due to the hold time we were way over by the time the phone was answered!



I will never use this company again and I urge anyone else not to, save yourself the time, money and hassle!
