The salesperson said the system would be installed...
The salesperson said the system would be installed on Friday, however nobody showed up. When we called the sales person he said he couldn't help us as he had quit. We called ADT who told us the dealer was located in Missouri. We called the number provided by ADT to find they were not open yet, and to resolve the issue we had to wait until 1:00pm, which was when they opened. When we finally got through to them we were told the installer was not available, and they would have to move us to another day which was when we would be out of town. We stated we wanted the system installed before we left town in 3 days. They said they would call back to see what they could do. They never called. We called them back in a few hours, and they were still unable to provide service until after we left town. We called ADT, and they said the dealer has to schedule the installation, as they use their own isntallers. In the meantime we had another person come to our door who was selling adt systems. When I told them what the problem was, they said they couldn't help me since I was already an adt customer with safe haven. I asked them if they could have installed sooner, and they said they could install the next day. I asked them if they were located in Missouri also, and they stated they were a business. After this experience I think it is always better to deal with a local business. We finally got the system installed we had a problem with sensors falling off. I've had alarm systems on several homes through the years, and have never ever had this problem. We were also promised a $100 Visa Gift Card which we never received.
