Worthless waist of time. You are better off just sitting and waiting in the ER at Memorial, going to Cedar Springs-where they will actually try to get you in and seen or even just waiting to go to Aspen Pointe. Aspen Pointe is probably the optimal choice in the Springs. Despite my mom having 8 of the 11 'Referral Symptoms', we were told that she didn't meet any of the requirements for admission. Instead of listening to her daughter, they took the entire word and delusional beliefs of someone with dementia over the person that actually knows what the truth of things is. Penrose stated they would have no trouble getting us in there, her neurologist earlier in the week said it was the best fit and even they said 'oh well, just get the referral and we have a bed ready for you.' The person much earlier in the day said she met the criteria. Yet you go there and the intake woman acts like you are stupid, repeats that the person needing treatment said the same thing a few times and most unprofessionally and without empathy and in a snobby manner. This was supposed to be the great fix for Colorado Springs, growing mental health issues since they closed down most the ER rooms for treatment. A complete waste of time and a joke. Go here only if you want to feel mocked, belittled and turned away when you clearly have the need for treatment.
