I recently bought a trek 920 and received outstanding service from the staff through out the process. Three visits in total which left me bewildered as to why people make unconstructive comments.

I received complete consideration through out.

The wait for the actual frame size I needed was within 48 hours with emails received that day and the next to allow me to be kept aware of progress . Second day a call from the store to ask me a suitable time to come into the store for a bike ride test and fitting.. Phil the manager made feel able to asked many questions as I needed which was refreshing in retail these days.

Bob one of the mechanics who I was able to watch prepare my bike and add the extras I selected was interesting to watch and observe the professional attitude these people have.
I never felt pressured to buy things I did not need,in fact I was surprised I spent less after discussing extras with the staff.
Contacting the store to confirm I would be collecting an additional set of tyres I found no problem getting through by phone. Being a busy store it's only reasonable to assume at times they are too busy helping customers to come to a phone as is normal at busy times

I learned far more than anticipated and enjoyed my visits.
Being a long distance tourer I've never felt this level of support and interest in my bike selection before or the passion from the staff to explain specificly step by step everything needed in equipment choice..
