The flavor of the paneer tikka masala was divine, but I was actually really let down by my dining experience. I drove from Chicago to Nashville with super high expectations. I arrived for my reservation 15 mins early and saw 2 booths were available in an area of the restaurant most guests were gathered. I wanted to be where the excitement was so I asked to be seated at a booth. I was told I had to be seated elsewhere due to reservations within the next 30-45 minutes. I was understanding and accepted to sit at a table instead. The cocktail list is remarkable and I was pleased with my choice, however I was embarrassed when my server examined my ID for several minutes. The dinner menu has so many great selections. I went with my favorite dish- paneer tikka masala. It was absolutely delicious. If you are weary of spice, this masala is not spicy at all. I LOVE spice so I ordered green chilis on the side and was given a green chili sauce instead. It gave me the heat I wanted, though I prefer the flavor of fresh green chilis. I also ordered the roti which I found to be mediocre. It was not warm and in my opinion very fluffy and dry for roti. I was also shocked when the order of roti only came with one piece. The rice was not very warm and the amount of rice was not sufficient for the amount of masala. The server asked if I wanted more rice so of course I said yes. I was unaware there would be an up charge for the extra rice and the green chili sauce. The food was satisfying for the most part, but I found it to be over priced for what was provided. I was upset to see the two reserved booths remained unseated during my entire dining experience. I am hopeful my next visit will be better. Most people seemed to be really enjoying their time. I wish I could have been in a better spot to see more of what they were ordering so I could plan my next meal.
