Mithun Mohandas Review of Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park

The Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park is at par with most of the 5-star establishments I've stayed at except for a few shortcomings centered around the in-house dining experience. To start off, the breakfast does start at 6 am but there's barely anything available to end your fast. It's better to come down at 7 am should you want a little variety. Speaking of variety, the breakfast menu has been undoubtedly the smallest I've ever seen. There's barely any selection of meat except for a few cold cut slices and perhaps one type of sausage. You could offer a lot more fruits and pastries. To be concise, the breakfast menu should be renamed as a snack bar.
The Wi-Fi is also very-very limited. There is a fair-usage policy which requires you to re-login after every 1GB of data transfer. Nothing wrong with that, but in this day and age, just syncing one's email after a long flight is enough to eat up half a GB so the Fair Usage Policy needs a revision to keep up with the times. Also, the transfer speeds are pretty low for a high-end hotel.
The staff members are very courteous and extremely helpful.
