I was in an auto accident and NOT ONCE received a bill or phone call from the ambulance that took my daughter. Both insurance companies were really great to work with and were paying all the bills that were coming in. Then 5 months after the accident, I get a bill from Mountain Land. I immediately called them and informed them it was from an auto accident and should have been covered by the other driver's insurance. They said not to worry about it affecting my credit and we'll get it taken care of. The same day, the insurance adjuster called them to get it paid. He came back saying they were "not helpful" and would not work with him to make the payment. So he had no choice but to send me a check to pay the bill directly. Before it arrived, Mountain Land reported it to my credit!! THEY TRIED TO PAY YOU. YOU REFUSED. Thanks a lot, jerks!
