I recently purchased the Groupon deal for me and my family I hadn't taken family pictures in a couple years. I didn't know what to expect from a $40/1 hr deal, and had never heard of XSIGHT before. But I looked at their website & FB page for previous shoots, and was pleased with their work.

The Folsom location is out of the way for me as I live on the border of Elk Grove in Sacramento. But I definitely picked the right location with the scenery of Folsom as our backdrop.

I had a great experience. Our photographer was Carlos and from the being he was friendly, social and seemed like he wanted to be there. He asked me if there were any places that I liked to go for backdrops and suggested some places. He even joked with my boys which I think made them feel more comfortable for our session. Within our hour session, we were able to get in pictures with 4 outdoor backdrops and 1 indoor shoot.

My families photo viewing was just as good of a experience, because I finally got to see how our pictures looked....and I was pleased with how the photos turned out. The viewing session was very relaxed, Chris played the slide show and we even got to talking about my work as a Graphic Designer. Because Chris got to know of my background with photo editing and photography as well, he gave me my 8x10 on the CD I purchased. Which I thought was great because I could retouch it myself, and wasn't made to feel pressured to get the retouched 8x10 for an additional fee. He was even cool enough to give me the pictures I purchased in raw (Hi-Res) format, since I had worked with them before.

With the Groupon deal being $40/1hr session & a CD of all images taken. As a Graphic Designer I thought that was an absolute steal, but after the shoot I found out that the CD was only for low res/web quality images. I was a little disappointed since I didn't see that noted in terms/conditions of the deal. If I overlooked that then of course that's on me, but I don't think I did. So it's the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars.
