Budapest is one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe. It's hard to understand why their airport looks so bad. I've been there a few times. There are no chairs or seats in the departure area. If you arrive earlier than the check-in opens, you'll need to stand there like a moron. There's a trick though: me and my wife always go downstairs to the arrivals area, where there are a lot of seats. Once you pass security there are a lot of restaurants and fast foods where you can spend your time.
