Do not use Storm Tight Windows, they are a sexist and rude company! I called to make an appointment for new windows and doors. The represntative asked if I could choose style and agree to a contract price without my husband, I replied yes I was. He again asked three more times all of which I said I am the decision maker. Then I expressed my discomfort with his disbelief that a wife was capable of making this decision and he responded sorry it is company policy, and if I was to say I need to discuss with my husband than the person giving the bid wouldn t give me a bid. Then the appointment guy called me back and gave some rediculous story of a woman contracting them and then her husband coming home and canceling thus leaving them with a Windows they couldn t use...if someone contracts for a job and you have the materials then they legally owe you the money so either they need a new lawyer to write contract or they need to enforce their contract and not treat people badly based on one incident. I told the man I was callin many companies and was getting bids and seeing options for window types and would base MY decision on that, not what my husband wants (FYI he could care less as long as he doesn t have to put up shutters again).

The whole thing made me uncomfortable and sad that this day and age companies don t think that a woman can make decisions! I never made the appointment and never saw their work because of their sexist views.
