We stayed at Trunkwell House overnight whilst attending a function for 600. The setting is lovely and the facilities were excellent from the public loos to the bathroom. The hotel has been recently redecorated to a high standard and was well staffed. On the whole it was terrific and very comfortable but just a couple of little niggles - the standard of cleanliness was excellent, but there was a used tissue in the toiletry box in the bathroom, and I gathered up three hair grips dotted around the bedroom. Also there was no lock or catch on the bathroom door - personally I like to bathe uninterrupted! The breakfast was very continental but plentiful and delicious - the large bowls of fresh cut melon, oranges, grapes and strawberries had everyone tucking in. I would certainly stay there again.
