The O2 shepherds bush suffers from being too small, when a band is playing it s often difficult to impossible to reach the bar from the main floor, and even more difficult to reach the woefully inadequate toilets.

Last time I was there Security were hounding people off the stairs when the venue was empty, but then made no effort to keep stairways clear when the venue was full.

Personally I think this venue also had the poorest sound of all the O2 branded theaters in London: if you happen to have a choice then go and see a band at islington, Kentish town or Brixton instead as you ll have a better overall experience.
