The first thing about Anne Frank's house is you need to book a slot well in advance. We were there just 15 minutes before our time slot and we entered at our time so we did not lose time standing in long Queue. There are very slim chances you can get on the spot tickets.

Reading "Anne Frank's Diary" as a teenager, this visit was like going back into time. We were provided an audio guide (self-explanatory) which guided us to the secret annexes behind a bookshelf. This annex was a part of a warehouse. Anne hid there with her family from the Nazis for more than 2 years during World War II.

A few parts of the original diary Anne wrote when she was hiding there with her family is on display in the museum. It took us about an hour to complete the entire tour. Photography is not allowed inside the building. Everything is well organized and few artifacts that the inhabitants used during hiding is displayed.
