Review of UCLH NHS Foundation Trust

I was admitted to the acute ward after being in A& E. For 3 nights I couldn't wait to leave this unfriendly & cold hospital with untrained nurses who were hooked to their computers. They had no knowledge of nursing. They treated patients with contempt especially at night. Untrained cruel individuals were put in nursing uniform to treat very sick people. One particular junior doctor called herself Victoria/Elizabeth (no surname any more so they cannot be identified later) was full of herself. She was like a dictator. I assume she was interested in her own promotion by carrying on the order from above & she didn't know how to be a doctor!!! There was no rest at night because of noise. The food was awful that a dog won't eat it. I only ate bread. The bathroom & hygiene was beyond contempt. The way the patients were treated & the way staff including ? Doctors treated patients was even worse than the 3rd world. The only thing they were good at was dishing out drugs. I was absolutely shocked & disillusioned by so called grand hospital with a lot of money given for research. I would call UCLH a laboratory for experimentation on helpless patients. I was shocked that UCLH has turned into such a chaotic place. I worked there many years ago. There were some humanity & care for helpless patients. No amateur nurses & doctors were allowed to carry out procedures without training & supervision. In fact by having unqualified staff & no supervision because of saving money. The managers cause more suffering & complication for patients & more expense for NHS. During my stay I did not see any Matron/ supervisor visiting acute wards.
