If I could give 0 stars, I would. I brought my ATV in for a backfire, they said they adjusted everything and found an internal head gasket leak which they said was fixed. After $1K and 12 miles later, the motor came apart with the wife riding it.
Moon said they would look at it, and when I say look at it they never had me take it off the trailer, just looked at it and said it was nothing they did.
I washed my hands of it and gave it to another ATV mechanic, which called me within an hour and said the head gasket was never done, the motor had never been apart and had pics. I called Moon again with that info, they said they would have "upper management" call me, no messages no call. I guess that was they're answer. If your business prides itself on customer service, which is what they told me multiple times, then make the effort to say what you can or won't do.

You say that the service department was clear and to the point and told me that I had a failing engine, that is not the case, if anything it was very vague. I was left with the impression that it should all be good. The word failing never came up, I was told that all the fluids were changed and it had an internal head gasket leak and I said fix it and that is ALL they said. If the word failing came up, why would I fix it? I have been told by other mechanics, at that time Moon should have asked to look at the lower unit, I was not. I guess my expectations were too high. When you bring a used machine into "professionals" you should have high expectations that the work was done thoroughly and correctly.
This whole experience and your accusatory attitude toward other mechanics who I sought out, were just giving honest opinions and don't even have a dog in the fight, and were willing to talk to you and provide pictures, which were denied, is actually embarrassing. Gift certificate or not, Moon failed.
I'm just saying anyone going to Moon for service better check everything with a fine tooth comb, ask questions, and then do it again. Once you leave, its unfortunately on you. They can respond to reviews and say he said she said...blah blah blah, and you end up taking it in the tailpipe. just flat out poor communication, and lack of any responsibility.

Joel, you better go back and read my review, I never accused moon of anything, I wanted Moon to see if the work was actually done, I was denied. Gerry knows his machines, thats why when he questioned the work, I figured maybe it wasnt. Thats where we sit now
