I had some of the worst experiences with the service department at this dealership!! So horrible that recently I traded my 2016 Mercedes Benz because I Absolutely hated taking it to this dealership. One incident I made a reservation for a service appointment requesting a loaner because I m in the medical field a had to be at work for a procedure with my cardiologist. I was told that I could not get a loaner car because this particular service would only only take 30 -40 mins. Unfortunately for me it took 2hrs and I was extremely late to work not to meantion the drive there took an additional 45mins since I work in Thomasville. I was almost 3 hrs late for work. I was so humiliated,angry,and embarrassed. Never in my life have I ever been this late for work. Of course I should have been written up but my office manager empathized with me regarding the situation. She too expected better from Mercedes!!! To compensate me for the inconvenience I was tolded by the service manager ,Joe next time to talk directly to my representative( Joe Turzzo)! I couldn't believe it!! It was as if no one care about the inconvenience to me. Oh but they rush to get my car service done faster! The next service I had to have I decided to let my fiance take my car and drop it off for. I just had a fear that something would go wrong like last time and I didn't want to be written up at work. I made the reservation with my service rep just as I was advised and requested a loaner car for my fiance. He assure me that he would have one available for him upon his arrival. When my fiance arrived
early that morning to drop off my car there was no loaner car available. He was told that they would shuttle him to enterprise to get a vehicle contracted through Mercedes. They dropped him off at enterprise and left him. When he was finally waited on at enterprise, he was told that didn't have anymore loaner vehicles. He waited 2hrs for the Captiol Euro shuttle bus to pick him back up and set there for hours waiting on them to finish the service. He missed two important business meetings.
When I spoke to my service representative (Joe Turzzo) he apologized and said that he could give me 10% off my service! Are you kidding me!!! This was horrible service and bigger slap in the face offering me 10% to compensate for the inconvenience. I begin to think what if I would have taken my car myself, I would have been written up for being late. The worst part is no one seemed to care! The sad part is I loved Mercedes and recently got approved to buy a new Mercedes. My dream car is the CLS 450. I decided not to get it now because this is the dealership that would have to service it and I was told Albany is even worst by one of my patients!! I loved my mercedes but hate having it serviced at this dealership!!! I traded it because the service experience was truly horrible and I dreaded taking it there!!! I do expect more from Mercedes!!! I have recently spoken to someone who said he is sorry I had those experiences but he had never. That was good know. Unfortunately this was my experience and I will never forget it! I was always told they were short staff when my services would take a while but is this really the customer's problem! Mercedes moto is The Best or Nothing. I received far from the the Best from this dealership's service department!
