Lovely food on Bank Holiday Monday and great service

Eaten here a number of times. The food and service has always been excellent. They also have a couple of very good ales. It's a great stop off on the gritstone trail.

Always great food (if you can get a table - its best to book). Prices are average but the food is excellent.

Not the ideal place if you want to sit out on a sunny day though as it has no real beer garden, just a couple of token tables outside.

The Ryles Arms was fantastic. The service was great and food absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend it!

Just stayed the night husband had problems sleeping due to generater but it's because off building work definitely won't stop us coming back food was excellent and the bed was the most comfortable bed ive ever slept in the staff were very warm and friendly thank you for a lovely stay mrs. Fantastic food great service and reasonable prices will come again

The fillet steak is delicious and so is the sticky toffee pudding. Service is excellent.

All the food we had was perfect, steak was cooked exactly as asked for. Would highly recommend the cheese cake too! Not the cheapest but the quality of food is well worth the cost!

We booked a table for lunch. The staff were very nice and professional. Our table was very clean.
Food was amazing and the portions were big. We really enjoyed our lunch there. Definitely go back again! Highly recommended!

The Deluxe Burger was ace, very nice pub and good service.

Went for lunch, food was excellent with huge portions and the staff were welcoming and efficient following all covid protocols. Enjoyed the meal and the comfortable environment.

Room was clean and fresh with a fab shower and ensuite bathroom. Staff very friendly and enthusiastic and the food was exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to use again if travelling or working in nearby locations.

Food was delicious. Young staff very helpful. Only downside is card payments, due to a very poor internet signal. Would recommend.

Visited only for Sunday lunch. Quite impressed with the location, atmosphere, the menu, quality and quantity of food. The menu had a wide choice of hearty meals, even with smaller portions for smaller appetites. Pricing was reasonable. The only negative was the fact that the gents toilets needed a little attention on cleaning and modernising. Otherwise this pub is most definitely worth a visit.

Lovely family meal, a touch on the pricey side but mostly worth it for lovely surroundings and friendly atmosphere. Only reason it's 4 not 5 stars is probably my own fault, ordered the wrong starter!!!

What a wonderful oldie world pub and restaurant. The food was made to perfection. Staff very attentive. Highly recommended.

Fantastic options on the menu and what we had was great and plenty of it too. Could not manage a desert even though they looked amazing too.

Delivered an industrial cooler on to new development of the premises with the pub still active arrived very late and was asked if I d like a meal as all the staff stayed on, what an absolute credit to the landlord to have such warm friendly and polite staff. a thumbs up for the chefs the meal was very hot and delicious. If I d lived local to this historic pub I d definitely go back

Lovely cosy little room, very well fitted and great decor. I'd give 5 stars apart from one minor point. The emergency exist light it the room was quite bright and disrupted my sleep a bit (room 3).
