What a wonderful way to cross the channel. It is exciting from the minute you pull your car into the depths of the ferry until you drive out on the other side. We bought the club passage so we had a luxurious space with complimentary champagne and lovely snacks, newspapers, comfortable seating and a private deck for viewing. Well worth the price. We did venture to the other decks to buy souvenirs. The shop was chock full of great gifts and momentos. The other decks were far too crowded for my taste and people were loud and boisterous. People were packed in it standing, having brought their own food and drink and lots of children who were running about unsupervised. Back to the lounge, it was peaceful and lovely and the views were superb. Much superior to driving in a long dark Chunnel!
