Why working with Tania at PorchLight Realestate was the BDE (best decision ever)!

Relocating to Colorado was a big deal for my family. Everything was unfamiliar territory for us including the schools, the neighborhoods, the parks and places to shop. We liked the idea of renting a property but the thought of purchasing a home gave me anxiety. Mostly because the process is very personal and emotional and with so many unknowns about the neighborhoods, I had no certainty if where we bought would meet our needs. After discussing the ins and outs of what we had in mind, Tania took us on a market education day it was great. We drove all around different neighborhoods scoping out the scene. Was it close to the city, close to my job, or close to a grocery store? Were there any parks within walking distance? Were the houses in that location larger or smaller? Would we pay top dollar in a certain neighborhood vs get a bit more for our money in another? Tania s knowledge of the real estate market and the locations we checked out on market education day put all my uncertainties at ease.

A couple weeks after our initial neighborhood investigation, we began attending a series of open houses. And by we I mean my wife, myself, and our two kids ages 4 & 6. We would see up to 10 houses a day, shlepping the kids inside each one, which was somewhat stressful for us, but to Tania this was nothing new. With one child on the verge of a meltdown and the other giving Tania her unsolicited two cents, Tania was a pro.

That final thing that made working with Tania at PorchLight the BDE (best decision ever) was that she always seemed to have everything we needed- mortgage lenders, home inspectors, flooring specialists, local school info, goodie bags for the girls to help prevent future melt downs. There was never a single thing we needed that Tania did not have or could not find a solution to.

We will certainly use Tania in the future, and would recommend working with her to anyone in the Denver metro area!
